The space Stay a while! With special rates on 5 nights, weekly, and biweekly stays, this home is perfect for the long vacation and travel worker alike! Welcome to your perfect home away from home! This 1,900 sq. ft. retreat offers everything you need for a comfortable stay, whether you're visiting for a family event, a work trip, or a leisurely getaway. More than just a rental; it’s a thoughtfully curated retreat designed to offer the comforts and conveniences of a home while away on vacation. From the fully stocked kitchen for the adults to the carefully chosen board games and cozy reading nook for the kids, every detail has been included with the intention of making you feel right at home. I hope you experience the same warmth and comfort that make this house a cherished home for me when I stay while visiting family. Bedrooms & Bathrooms: Featuring three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. On the main level: The master bedroom and an en-suite, with an entrance to the back deck so you can slip out for a night cap by the fire without ever disturbing the little ones. A second bedroom with full and twin sized beds, perfect for both the young and old at heart; and a second full bathroom. Upstairs: a third bedroom with queen sized bed and power recliner and half bathroom provide a separate living space, perfect for multiple families traveling together. A second full sized living area with a reading/games corner for the kids to play and 55" TV with large modular sofa for kicking back and snuggling up to your favorite TV show or movie. Can be used as an additional sleeping area with the provided queen-sized air mattress, or extra linens for sofa. Note that guests over 6 require an additional nightly fee of $35/guest/night and must be disclosed and discussed at time of booking. Living Room: Complete with an attached office space overlooking the front yard. Enjoy movie nights or gaming sessions with the 65” smart TV, sound bar, and Xbox station. The large coffee table is ideal for family game nights. TV's: all TV's are either smart TV's or equipped with a Roku device for guests to log into their own streaming applications. This house does NOT have cable TV. - For guests that do not have their own streaming subscriptions the app "Pluto" is a free streaming app and available on all TV's. - Additionally there is a guest subscription of Netflix and Peacock app logged into the main living room TV. Kitchen: This fully renovated kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, elegant waterfall quartz countertops, plenty of seating at island and table, and all the tools you need for your culinary adventures. - Coffee and tea bar is stocked with individual coffee packets, a variety of tea, creamers, sugar, and honey to get you started. - Skagit County is a plastic bag free district and such grocery stores charge for reusable paper bags at the stores. The house provides reusable bags for your use located under the kitchen sink for your convenience. Please make sure they make it back under the sink so all guests are able to have this amenity for their stay. Outdoors: Brand new fence, fully enclosed backyard, a safe space where kids can play. Brand new back deck completed in April '26. Complete with a new patio dining set with seating for 8. As well as a small propane fire pit to enjoy your evenings around. You might even spot a family of deer wandering through the yard! I provide weekly yard maintenance year-round to keep the space pristine. BBQ: propane 4 burner BBQ. - BBQ utensils are provided and should ONLY be used for the grill, NOT for inside cooking. - Guests are responsible for cleaning the grill at the end of their stay so it is ready for the next guests to come and enjoy it. - An additional cleaning fee of $25 will be charged for failure to clean grill back to the way you found it. Cleaning product and supplies are provided for you to do so. - A back up propane tank is kept in the garage. If you end up needing to switch tanks to start using the back up, please notify me so that I know the other tank needs to be filled. Thank you. - Grill cover should be placed back on the grill after cleaning, prior to departure. Patio furniture: cover should be placed over table and chairs before departure or if it is going to rain during your stay. Cushions for chairs are stored in the storage bin located inside of the garage during the winter months. Please feel free to pull them out for use in the winter months if you're lucky enough to be there when it's not raining :) Family friendly neighborhood. There is a very popular park that has water features during the summer, 3 blocks down the street. The local hospital is 6 blocks southwest. Downtown attractions for entertainment, dinning, and shopping are a 5 mins car drive or 15-20 walk down the hill. Downtown Mount Vernon is buzzing with restaurants, breweries and distilleries, local shops and a beautiful boardwalk along the river. Whether you're here for a family gathering, a work assignment, or just to explore, this home offers private spaces, ample room for everyone, and all the comforts you need for a memorable stay.
