Description

Cozy up in this private, one-bedroom, centrally located, upper apartment. (Must walk up a handful of outdoor stairs) Unique, peaceful, and affordable - Daniel’s Place is 3 blocks from the Riverlife walking path, leading directly to downtown, and 3 miles away from Granite Peak Ski Resort. Daniel’s Place is the perfect spot for weekend ski trips, city biking, trying local restaurants, farmers markets, kayaking, and exploring the city of Wausau. Come make yourself at home 🙂 The space The home you’re staying in was built in 1920. The upstairs was converted to 650 square foot apartment in the 1980’s. The rooms are on the smaller side. The kitchen is a bit outdated. Truth be told, there are certainly some imperfections. That being said, it is cozy, clean, comfortable, and best of all, affordable! If you’re reading this, please be kind and considerate when it comes to ratings (Airbnb puts a lot of value in them for hosts). I will do my best to accommodate any requests within my power! Also, please don't mind my neighbors unusual choice of curtains as you pull in the driveway. Guest access You have access to the whole apartment other than: - bathroom closet - hallway closet - bedroom closet - kitchen closet Other things to note The deck in the back is yours to use! I also own the blue cottage which is a short term rental, but those guests don’t use the deck. 🙂 There is a small closet off the living room that has an extra sleeping space if needed. (Full size futon mattress with sheets, comforter, pillows, and extra blanket) The apartment is on the second story, so you will need to walk up a handful of stairs. The thermostat is located downstairs, but don’t hesitate to request a temperature adjustment if desired. The shower is a bit tricky. In order to engage the shower head, you must pull the circular piece at the end of the tub spout. It pulls straight down from the end of the spout.
