Welcome to our newly renovated traditional Sri Lankan house in the heart of Batticaloa. With a more eco-friendly twist, we fit your needs and lifestyle for the tropical climate of Sri Lanka with an authentic experience in comfort. This property is family-run, and we offer a variety of amenities. This includes a private entrance, a fenced yard, and parking for peace of mind. Whether you're here for a short or long-term visit, we look forward to hosting you. The space Walking into the house you are initially greeted with our bright and spacious living room which is divided into both a workspace and dining area with a comfortable and luxurious couch to relax with friends, or even just lay back and watch some TV. And if that wasn’t comfortable enough we have two spacious, cool and airy rooms which are both connected to a common area which has the washroom and laundry area. Our home comfortably can accommodate four adults, two adults in each room. Upon request we can also provide traditional pan reed mats to accommodate extra guests (maximum 2). You can expect a sense of safety, comfortness while living in the heart of Batticaloa, waking up to birds in the morning and feeling the seaside breeze bringing together the feeling of being at home on Vacation. As our home we of course provide a dedicated kitchen and dining room filled with various amenities, whether you want to cook with clay pots on the chimney or use the gas stove to cook whatever your heart desires. Amenities at our home include: Air Conditioning, Ceiling Fans, Magnetic Screens (for those pesky mosquitoes), WiFi, Washing Machine, Water Heater, Comfortable Bed with spring mattress, Great Lighting, Solar Powered Lights (in case of power outage) and many more! During Your Stay: - Take advantage of the private entrance/porch to have a coffee in the morning while you take in the nature which the house is surrounded by including our garden which has a variety of local plants we grow. - Take a stroll to the heart of Batticaloa Town and see the local attractions and landmarks with the help of our guide book(~8min walk to town).
