Our delightful little 17th century cottage sits nestled in Balcombe, a stone's throw from village amenities, great walks and country pubs. Its wonky timber frame bones are proudly displayed inside and out, making it a gorgeous and characterful place to stay and rest. The king size double bed provides a comfy slumber plus sofa bed for an additional person. There's a large fenced garden for relaxation and play. Balcombe is the ideal location to base yourself and explore the surrounding area. The space Fully equipped kitchen with fridge and ice box, washer dryer, cooker and hob. There's a sitting room with a smart TV, sofa and small dining table. Downstairs shower room. Upstairs to one bedroom with a low beam in the centre. Heat is provided by central heating and/or a woodburner if desired. A small amount of logs are provided. Please do note the sofa bed is in the bedroom, divided by a low beam wall. The stairs are a little steep and there is a step downstairs between the hallway and sitting room. Guest access Guests have access to the whole property. Other things to note Do note there are period features in the house which are just part of its charm, but guests should be aware there are low beams, a steep but short staircase, and a step on the ground floor. The bathroom is on the ground floor.
