Just 10 minutes from downtown PA, yet you'll feel as if you have escaped into your own private retreat. Soak in the hot tub as you gaze across the Strait, or have some excitement in the game room! The cabin is a great spot for exploration of the Peninsula with easy access to Hurricane Ridge and much of Olympic National Park. The space The Mountainside Cabin is situated on 2.5 acres of private, forested land with breathtaking views of the Strait of Juan De Fuca. A beautiful drive up the mountainside from Port Angeles town center brings you to the cabin where you feel a million miles from everything, yet are only 10 minutes to the Port Angeles City Pier! The cabin is perfectly located with easy access to Hurricane Ridge Visitor center (41 mins), Marymere Falls/Lake Crescent Lodge (26 mins), Port Angeles town (10 mins), and all the Olympic National Park has to offer. The interior of the cabin is tastefully decorated and fully stocked with everything you need to have a great get away. Hang out on the deck with your morning coffee as you watch the ships pass on the ocean. After a fun day exploring the national park, soak in the hot tub or have a cocktail on the deck as you look at the distant lights of Victoria and gaze at the starry sky. If its a rainy day, don't worry! Hang out in the game room playing ping pong, fusbol or arcade video games. Or sit back with your favorite book in the comfy reading nook. As the night winds down, sit by the toasty wood burning fireplace and share stories of your adventures in the park! Guest access Guests have access to the entire house and property with the following exceptions: No access to garage, work shop, and owners closet in the basement. Other things to note There is a split, ductless AC system in the basement. The upstairs usually does not require AC, however there is a portable AC machine available to use during the summer months.
