Cozy lakefront cottage tucked away in the country

Cozy waterfront summer cottage nestled away in the back woods of Lunenburg County. Unwind on the deck under the awning, have a barbeque, or enjoy a dip in the clear, cool lake. Ideal for getting away from everything. The space This is our summer/retirement home we are sharing with folks who want to get away from the city. Be forewarned-the second bedroom is small and guinea fowl roam the acreage keeping the bug population under control. They are entertaining but not intrusive and go home at the end of the day. Guests will have access to the main cottage-boathouse and office shed are not included. Access to the office shed can be arranged for longer term rentals. The cottage has been recently updated. New bed in the master, cozy old (but clean) plush chairs. TV has Firestick and high speed internet thanks to Elon. There is a Bose sound system. It is equipped with an "AUX" in plug and a Bluetooth module beside it. Instructions for the Bluetooth are on the module. Our neighbours manage the property for us as we live out of town. They are nearby to help with any issues that might arise. The lakefront has other cottagers and neighbours on it, but not so many that it feels like a campground. The bathroom is fully updated with a shower and air jet tub. Spare linens and towels are supplied for weekly changes. If you need provisions picked up, the neighbours will pick up prearranged orders from Bridgewater for a charge of $50 per trip (less if they are going into town anyways). There is lots of outdoor space and not a lot of people. Guest access Use of entire cottage. No access to boathouse (actually a shed, we just call it that). No access to work office/shed without prior arrangement. The hot tub is currently not operational and will be available for use at additional cost once up and running. Other things to note There is a small washer and a handy clothesline for laundry. No dryer but things dry pretty fast on the line. There is a good counter top ice maker that will keep up with most demands-no need to buy ice to carry in. Check in and out times can be flexible based on other bookings before and after. Don't hesitate to ask. Pets are not permitted due the birds roaming the grounds. Incidents in the past have made this policy necessary. Internet is high speed Starlink and TV in main room has Firestick. There is no access to subscription based streaming services on it but you can login with your own accounts. Absolutely no bittorrent services are to be used while on wifi as that will result in us losing Starlink services for the premises. Apparently Elon Musk is fussy about this issue.
