The listing is located in the center of the village of Lamoura, 15 minutes from Les Rousses and 20 minutes from Saint-Claude. You will be close to lakes and many hiking and mountain biking trails. The space 60 m2 duplex Refurbished in 2023, completely independent. This consists of: A fully equipped kitchen opens onto a living room with a 140 cm wide sofa bed. TV 123 cm. Access to balcony and small garden Upstairs: Bedroom with QUEEN SIZE bed, width 160 cm. TV 108 cm. Toilet Bathroom with shower. Above the bedroom, a very cozy mezzanine equipped with 2 small beds 90 cm wide, will act as a "tree house bedroom" for children (Restricted height, rather intended for children under 12 years old). Note that the stairs leading to this mezzanine are steep. The accommodation is suitable for a family of 4 with children, it is less suitable for 4 adults for reasons of comfort and amenities. You will also enjoy the small outdoor terrace facing south during the sunny days, as well as the small garden with picnic table, gas barbecue, spring game for children. You will also have access to a small closed garage allowing you to store skis/sleds/bicycles/motorcycles (no car). Bikers welcome! Small shops are on the same street (bakery/convenience store/cheese shop/pizzeria/restaurant). No smoking inside the accommodation, no pets allowed. Please note, all bed linen as well as bath towels and tea towels are offered as an option at the single rate of €60/stay (if you choose this option, the beds will already be made upon your arrival). Other things to note NUMEROUS ACTIVITIES IN SUMMER ● In summer, you can swim in Lake Lamoura, the highest lake in the Jura, or in Lake ROUSSES a few kilometers away and take part in many water activities by canoe, sailing, paddle board or pedal boat. ● Discover our unusual leisure park: suspended nets, giant wooden games, LudiK' trail, electric scooters, Explor'Games, Escape Games Apéro. ● Winter ski slopes turn into mountain biking trails and hiking trails in summer. ● A few kilometers from Lamoura, in the vicinity of the village of Les Rousses, for golf enthusiasts, 2 courses are available to you: the Golf du Rochat and the Golf du Mont St Jean. CULTURAL ACTIVITIES ● In the heart of the Haut-Jura massif, the Fort des Rousses, the second French fortress, is home to the largest maturing cellar for Jura cheeses (Comté, Morbier, Mont d'Or, etc.). It is an exceptional place with its 50,000 m² of vaulted rooms filled with nearly 100,000 wheels of Comté. ● The village of Lamoura is home to a museum: the Maison du Lapidaire, which traces the history of the stonemasons of the Haut-Jura region, an activity formerly carried out by farmers for jewelry. ● Don't miss a truly unusual museum a few kilometers away in the village of Prémanon: the Espace des Mondes Polaires Paul-Emile Victor. You will then be transported to the ice floe with polar bears, penguins, a giant refrigerator to better understand the great outdoors of the poles.
