The towns can be reached by car in about half an hour (Heide about 45 minutes). Good shopping opportunities are available in the neighboring town of Garding. Regional products are offered about 3 km away on a farm. If you don't want to go to St. Peter-Ordingen for swimming, visit the swimming area in Vollerwiek (approx. 20 minutes by car).
