Description

Stay at this adorable cottage in Great Snoring for a relaxing break with a partner or friend, or simply enjoying the company of a beloved pet. It’s located in a quiet cul-de-sac in the pretty village of Great Snoring, with a pub 2 miles away in Little Snoring. Nearby you’ll have the glorious Thursford Wood (3.5 miles), a delightful spot for taking tranquil (dog) walks among the ancient oak trees and elegant ferns. The space The sea is just 8 miles north, opening up fantastic opportunities for walks, sunbathing and picnicking within the Norfolk Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This pretty brick bungalow has an open-plan living area encompassing a lounge, kitchen and dining area. Inside, white walls, exposed brick and wooden accents – including attractive ceiling beams – give the place a rustic feel. After long days out in the countryside, warm up by the open fire while lounging on the comfy two-seater sofa, perhaps popping a film on the TV. Preparing meals is a joy in the well-equipped kitchen, which sits alongside a dining table for hosting romantic meals or peaceful dinners for one. The bedroom is a twin, so works well for two friends. You’ll also have a seating area out the front of the house that’s ideal for breakfasts in the sunshine. A shared lawn area provides a scenic view of the village church. There’s plenty to explore nearby – you’ll be 2 miles from Little Walsingham, an ancient pilgrimage destination that’s listed in the Domesday Book, and 4 from Fakenham, a market town with plenty of shops for you to explore. For a day out by the coast, head to Wells-next-the-Sea (8 miles) to enjoy windswept walks past the sand dunes followed by a hearty fish-and-chip supper. At Holt (10 miles), you can board a steam train to absorb the scenery of the AONB on the popular North Norfolk Railway.
