We're not sure, but you'll notice that some walls are angled. This vestige of the past only adds to its charm. Rest assured, the house has all the modern amenities you would want, with a history you can only wonder about. Here's what you can expect: 3 BEDROOMS - Two queen beds, 1 double bed. Sleeps 6 comfortably. 2 BATHROOMS - Two showers, one soaker tub (with incredible ocean views). KITCHEN - Fully equipped with fridge, stove, dishwasher, and microwave. All brand new Whirlpool appliances. Stocked with cooking essentials like spices and oil, plus a dedicated coffee setup to start your mornings right. LIVING ROOM - Open concept space, tastefully decorated with a 55" TV, modern couch and two chairs. Near the back of the house, a cozy pair of chairs face the breathtaking Carbonear Harbour, with a sliding door with access to the back deck. We also provide board games, local and international books, and a Bluetooth speaker. OUTDOORS - Large back deck with outdoor furniture directly facing the ocean! Outdoors amenities include: - BBQ: Propane and utensils provided. - Portable fire pit: Wood and related materials are not provided - they are the responsibility of the guest. - Cornhole boards: A fun, laid-back game to enjoy with friends while soaking up the ocean views. Because of this central location, traffic can be busy at times. This means the following: - It is common to experience road noise, including overnight, particularly in the front two bedrooms. To help those who are sensitive to noise, we provide white noise machines, fans, ear plugs, and noise cancelling curtains. - It is highly recommended that you back into the driveway. If you prefer, you can instead park at the public parking lot directly across the street. - Please exercise caution while exploring our beautiful town. Ocean: We are located directly on the ocean.
