Welcome to our cozy mountain cabin at the top of Filefjell, ideal for families with small children. The Buhaugane area are equally charming in all seasons, and right outside the door you will find cross-country skiing tracks, blueberry bushes, older birch forest and hiking opportunities in all directions. Jotunheimen, Kongeveien, the Sognefjord and other sights are just a stone's throw away. The cabin has wifi access with remote-controlled heating so that you always arrive in a heated cabin. The space The cabin is comfortably furnished to a modern standard, including floor heating in the bathroom. There are duvets and pillows in all rooms with plenty of cupboard space. Guests must bring their own bedding and towels, while soap/toilet paper/washing-up liquid/misc. can be found at the cabin. In addition to the bathroom, there is a separate drying room with an additional toilet/sink. There are three bedrooms downstairs, as well as a loft with a double bed and sofa bed with options for 2 extra persons. The loft does not have a door/hatch, but still feels privat as bed is located opposite side. All bedrooms have a double bed, and two of the rooms also have a childrenbed or extra bunk above the double bed. You also have access to a Baby Bjørn travel cot (you must bring your own baby duvet/bedding set), baby chair, Ergobaby harness and children's sled. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cabin, as well as an outdoor shed with firewood, snowblower, campfire pan, dog cage, toboggan, snowshoes and sled. Other things to note E-16 over Filefjell is very rarely closed during winter. The cabin is located about 600m from the main road and you can park right next to the cabin.
