Villa Estrella del Mar is our 4-bedroom beachfront retreat — a private family haven and a little slice of paradise by the sea. With breathtaking views over Playa Bonita Bay and direct beach access, it offers the ultimate oceanfront experience. Nestled in 1,700 m² of lush tropical gardens, the villa is located in a peaceful residential area, perfect for relaxation and privacy. The space The house offers 4 comfortable bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, accommodating up to 9 guests. Three bedrooms feature king-size beds, while the fourth has three single beds — ideal for families or groups. All rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with ceiling fans, mosquito nets, and personal safes. The two rear bedrooms also open onto private verandas, surrounded by lush tropical gardens for peaceful moments of relaxation. The open-concept living area is designed for both comfort and tropical living. The first section includes the entrance, a cozy living room, and a fully equipped kitchen. This area can be closed off with sliding doors for added security and privacy. During the day, it’s usually left open to connect seamlessly with the spacious veranda, forming one large, breezy living space. The veranda is the heart of the home, with a dining area, two lounge spaces — one intimate and one larger — and a beloved hammock corner. All of this is sheltered by a traditional thatched roof that covers the entire house. A rain and wind curtain offers protection during tropical showers, allowing you to enjoy the outdoor space year-round. The beachfront garden is perfect for sunbathing, playing frisbee or soccer. When it's time to cool off, take a dip in the pool overlooking the ocean. Many guests enjoy lounging in the hammock, cocktail in hand, while keeping an eye on the kids splashing in the water — and we do too. On the opposite side, the garden is a vibrant tropical oasis, providing a serene backdrop for the rear verandas — ideal for reading, meditating, or just unwinding in nature. You’ll be in good hands with Bina, our wonderful housekeeper and talented cook, who works Monday to Saturday from 8am to 4pm. She handles daily cleaning, prepares breakfast (groceries not included), and does laundry twice a week. Lunch service is available for an additional fee (again, groceries not included). On Sundays, another staff member comes in for a half day to prepare breakfast. Bina knows Las Terrenas inside out and can assist with local arrangements. She speaks only Spanish, but communication with guests has always gone smoothly — translation apps work wonders. For dinner, a private chef can be arranged upon request. We also have a friendly gardener who works around the house 5.5 days a week. He tends to the garden and helps Bina with daily maintenance tasks, ensuring everything stays in perfect shape for your stay. Guest access The guest have access to the whole house.
