Pet friendly, sunset & mountain view VT retreat

Our pet-friendly home just outside of Montpelier and Burlington is the perfect place to base for a quiet getaway in the mountains of central Vermont.. Our house has a historic, bright, and airy country vibe, complete with amazing views of the Green Mountains, and a trail network. It has a big yard, an epic sun-set porch, and it is well-stocked for foodies, kids, BBQ, and outdoor fun! The space Our space is yours to enjoy while you are there! We ask you to treat the home with respect as we do live there when not rented. We are just around the corner when not at home so can be available if anything comes up during your stay. We live on a rural but well-maintained dirt road. Know your vehicle limits! In big storms, we would not recommend the trip up unless you have AWD or you know snow driving! Most days it is well plowed and sanded. Occasionally in big storms, we do lose power, if that were to happen we do have a wood stove that we can help guests with. The wood stove is not for guest use unless the main heating system goes down, and you have owners assistance. Please be sure to check the house manual for detailed notes on things like ice, coffee, heating/cooling, etc. Guest access The full home is yours to use while visiting! A couple of keynotes: - Please do not use any of the products in the freezer that you do not purchase or provide. Storage is available in the freezer though! - Please stay out of the garage during your stay. - Please feel free to roam our property, but note that the gardens are something we take pride in. Help yourself to some greens, or a couple of tomatoes but please do not harvest aggressively. Other things to note There is limited cell phone services for some carriers.
