Soak in the gorgeous views of Solitude Resort and Honeycomb Canyon right from the spacious upstairs porch. Solitude Vista is nestled in the enchanting Silver Fork neighborhood of Big Cottonwood Canyon. If you're seeking a getaway that seamlessly blends the beauty of nature, ~500+ average annual inches of the world-famous Rocky Mountain powder, and the modern comforts of home, look no further! Important Winter Stay Notes: 4WD/AWD and snow tires or chains are required in winter months in Big Cottonwood Canyon (November - April), so please come prepared. A member of our team will be available to guide you to the home for your initial arrival in winter if needed. Additionally, while the house has both a lower and upper driveway, please be aware that in the winter, only the lower driveway may be accessible. If only the lower driveway is accessible, please be advised that there is a walk from the lower entry up 2 flights of stairs into the main home! In the winter, it is advised that only 3 cars can park at this home. Convenient Location: Just a 40-minute drive or Uber from the SLC airport, the house is about 1 mile from Solitude Ski Resort and about 3 miles from Brighton. If you’re not able to drive to the slopes, there is also a ski bus stop a 5-minute walk across the street at the Silver fork lodge that takes riders up to both Brighton and Solitude. In the spring, summer and autumn months, you can drive directly over Guardsman’s Pass to quickly access Park City (~25 minute drive or ~12 mile bike). There are also a number of trails that can be accessed directly from the house, and the Solitude mountain bike park and disc golf course are just a stone’s throw away! Spacious and Comfortable: With 5 bedrooms spread across three floors, our house provides ample space for relaxation and rejuvenation. The upper floor boasts a regal king bedroom and a versatile queen + twin bunk room. The middle floor offers another king bedroom and a charming queen + twin bunk room, while the lower floor features a cozy queen bunk room with a private bathroom. Perfect for Remote Work: Whether you're a digital nomad or just need to stay connected, our home is equipped with four workstations, including three standing desks. Enjoy seamless wifi connectivity with high-speed fiber optic internet (new to Big Cottonwood Canyon in 2023). Surf with speeds above 200 mbps around the entire house. Multiple Living Spaces: Unwind in style in our two distinct living rooms. The upper living room treats you to breathtaking views, a 55-inch TV, large leather couches, and a cozy fireplace. Guests have access to the entire home and garage! We are available to help when needed! We are quickest to reach by text once you're at the home. Set in the beautiful neighborhood of Silver Fork, just 1 mile down the road from Solitude Mountain Resort, and 3 miles to Brighton. Our neighborhood is up a hill that is covered with hard-pack snow in the winter - please make sure your vehicle will be able to get to the home safely! There are only three cars allowed to park at this property. We have space for 2 cars in the garage, and 1 in the driveway. Please note that in winter you may need to move your vehicles for a full plow if you see the local plows out. For public transport, there is a stop for the ski bus located by the Silver Fork Lodge, about a 5-minute walk from the home. Please ensure you have the proper vehicle for the canyon. Not only is 4WD/AWD with snow tires or chains needed to get to the home, but it is legally required in Big Cottonwood Canyon for winter driving.
