All Season Family Fun Lakefront Cottage Retreat

Welcome to The G.O.A.T. Lakehouse, your family's lakefront retreat on the shores of Lake of the Woods, Michigan. Enjoy a sprawling dock and sandy lakefront beach. Feel free to bring your boat and dock with us. House is 35 minutes from South Haven and 40 minutes From St. Joseph. Enjoy the area wineries & breweries 5 to 10 mins away, head to the nearby ski hill 30 minutes away, or drop a line for your chance at a Walleye! The G.O.A.T. Lakehouse offers lasting memories with your family! The space Our Family cottage is designed for family gatherings with plenty of room for everyone. The cottage contains an open living space that flows easily between outdoor dining and the spacious three-season room. We have a toy chest for the kids and sand toys for epic sandcastle building. Lifejackets of all sizes are available to keep your little ones safe and we are always rotating games and puzzles. The cottage offers a fully furnished kitchen as well as bed linens and bath towels. We also have two grills available for use a Blackstone and a Weber Grill. For the littles our house also has a bathtub and a crib. Guest access You will have access to the whole house, outdoor entertaining spaces, and the dock during summer months. Other things to note This is our family cottage that we also frequently use and love. Some items and rooms may show signs of wear from frequent usage and the making of many memories. We hope that you find our home inviting, comfortable, and the perfect backdrop for many wonderful family experiences! ________________________ HAMILTON TOWNSHIP VAN BUREN COUNTY NOTES Ordinance 02112504 Effective 2-28-2025 STR Application No: 46535-01STR The following items are required as part of the listed Ordinance and are non-negotiable. Total occupancy is limited to 2 guests per bedroom and 2 additional guests per floor. This limits the house to 8 overnight guests. Maximum total day visit guests (sun up to sun down) is up to 1.5 times overnight occupancy. This limits the house to 12 total daytime guests. A maximum of 4 parking spots are available in the driveway. Street parking is not allowed. All activities must remain on the rented premise and may not encroach on neighboring properties. Campfires are allowed in designated firepit only and must be attended at all times and properly extinguished after use. Any local fire bans must be adhered to. Quiet Hours are mandatory from 10:30pm to 7am. Fireworks must comply with the Michigan Fireworks Safety Act 256 of 2011. Garbage Receptacles must not be viewable from the street, except on garbage pickup day. Noise monitoring device is required, and alerts are set to notify owners if noise exceeds 85 db.
