Quinta das Amoras - Au coeur des oliviers

Welcome to the Quinta das Amoras, a traditional Portuguese house completely renovated to offer all the comforts of today. Close to the small town of Penela and its castle, it is located in the heart of a terroir of vineyards and olive trees. Just 20 minutes away from the historic city of Coimbra, the Quinta offers a picturesque and serene setting, perfect for an escape from urban life. Come and explore the many historical places, river beaches and natural sites of this beautiful region. The space At the Quinta, you enjoy a complete house spread over two floors, fully privatized for you. It has 2 bedrooms, one en suite. Sleep under the stars in the comfort of your king bed, thanks to the suite's large Velux window. There is also a private balcony with no vis-à-vis where you can enjoy a meal or simply relax in front of the beautiful view of the property olive trees and the surrounding hills. Both floors have their own reversible air conditioning system (heating/AC) for summer and winter comfort. You will have everything you need to make your meals on site: oven and induction hob, large fridge and freezer, dishwasher, kitchen utensils, toaster, microwave, electric kettle, Italian coffee maker (or filter coffee), teapot, etc. The main living room (ground floor) has a 3-seats sofa and two armchairs. The boudoir of the suite (1st floor) includes a day-bed for napping or for accommodating a fifth person (single mattress 90x200cm). The two bathrooms, one on the ground floor and the other in the upstairs suite, are both complete, with umbrella shower, toilet and sink. The rooms have a wardrobe and a dresser for your clothes. The suite includes a king bed (180 x 200 cm) which can be divided into two to make two single beds 90 cm wide and the downstairs bedroom has a queen bed (160 x 200 cm) which can also be divided in two to make two single beds 80 cm wide. Please advise us of your needs when booking. If you are missing anything or have any question, just knock on the next door or call us, we will be happy to help. Guest access In addition to the house, its 2 floors and the balcony, all completely private, our customer parking accommodating 2 cars is also at your entire disposal. On the property there is also our own house and we are pleased to share the outdoor spaces with you. Do not hesitate to take a few steps among our olive and fruit trees. At the end of the land you will discover a small stream. For a moment of relaxation, you can also lay on the loungers of the terrace to sunbathe and use the outdoor shower to cool off. If you want to exercise or do your daily yoga, feel free to use our fitness room with panoramic views of the peaceful surroundings. Other things to note The client do not have access to the washing and drying machines. If you have clothes to clean, we can offer you to do the laundry ourselves for a small extra charge (maximum 8kg at a time). Drying (air or dryer according to your preference) is included.
