The space The "Hale Honu" or "Home of Sea Turtle" is a 4-bedroom haven with salt water pool and pet-friendly paradise. Tucked away on the sun-drenched shores of Kitty Hawk, this beach house is a symphony of coastal luxury and relaxation. With four bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms, and a private backyard. This haven invites you to experience the epitome of beachside living. The Hale Honu brings a little Hawaiian feel to the beautiful Kitty Hawk coast. Bedroom Bliss: Indulge in the four bedrooms thoughtfully designed by "Retro Revival Designs", each adorned with hand-picked decor and furnishings. Wake up to ocean views on the second floor, bask in natural light streaming through the windows, and find your sanctuary in a space designed for comfort. Bathroom Elegance: The two full bathrooms are stocked with shampoo and body wash, complete with updated fixtures, cozy design, and the allure of seaside serenity. The half-bathroom adds convenience for everyone's use and ensures that your morning routine is seamless and stress-free. Private Backyard Oasis: Step outside to discover your private slice of heaven. The backyard beckons with a saltwater swimming pool—a shimmering retreat that invites you to cool off under the sun or enjoy a moonlit dip. The spacious backyard is not just for you; it's a playground for your pets. Main Floor Magic: The main floor is a delightful fusion of functionality and style. The kitchen, equipped with updated appliances and adorned with coastal accents, invites you to channel your inner chef. The adjacent living room, with its cozy furnishings and retro-themed decor, provides an intimate space to unwind. The Primary Bedroom is located on the main floor with an en-suite bathroom. The living and dining room doors and windows connect the indoor and outdoor spaces providing a glimpse of your backyard oasis. Enjoy your early morning coffee and tea on the back deck listening to the sound of the waves. Second Floor Living: Enjoy game night or a movie with the family in the large and comfortable 2nd floor living area. A large and comfy sectional is also a queen size pull-out sleeper sofa for your guests or a fun slumber party for the kids! Local Charms: There are so many fun adventures, shopping, and of course beaches just steps or a short drive away. Kitty Hawk beach, less than 5-minute walk from the house is pet-friendly and beautiful. After a day at the beach, take a stroll and dine at local restaurants just a few blocks away. Guest access Guest will access to the entire home, except the Primary Bedroom Owner's Closet, and Owner's storage garage in the carport area. Other things to note A LEASE IS REQUIRED to be executed to book this property with each guest's full name. Must be 25 and up to book this property. Please do not touch/remove or use wall decor. Pet/Pets attending during your stay total weight should not exceed 100 lbs. of total weight unless agreed upon. Please message for more details. Pets should be able to be left home alone or unattended without causing damage to property. Multiple dog crates are available for use. Guest are required to clean up after their pets. A additional $100 dollar cleaning fee will be added to their stay if guest does not clean up after their pet outdoors while departing. We understand accidents happen, we provide a pee stain cleaner at the property. If multiple pee stain are found guest will be charged an additional $250.00 to get the carpets/rugs professionally clean. Pool is open mid-April through mid-October. The pool is unavailable for use from Mid-October through mid-April once it has been winterized. *Exact open and close dates are weather dependent. Please verify the status if you are booking near the beginning or end of these times. NO SWIMMING when pool is shut down for the season. Clean linens provided on all beds. Towels provided for each guest: one each of a bath towel, face towel, and hand towel. During prime season (May-Sept) a beach towel will also be provided for each guest. STRONGLY recommend to purchase travel insurance when booking your stay. We follow a STRICT cancellation policy and do not refund due to inclement weather. For bookings starting at the beginning of June to end of August, a 7-day minimum stay is required: Saturday to Saturday bookings only.
