Kardinia Cottage offers guests a country stay on a working farm while only a short drive from the surrounding towns and regional centres. Your cottage is fully self-contained with full cooking facilities, but only a short distance from the main residence if you need any assistance. We have parking for a vehicle and trailer or truck Enjoy a BBQ or glass of wine under the grapevine shaded verandah, or on cooler nights enjoy watching the flames in the fire pit and see the stars light up the sky. The space Kardinia Cottage offers guests a country stay in very comfortable and well equipped private accommodation. You will enjoy the kitchen-living area, separate bathroom and separate bedroom as well as a delightful undercover outdoor area draped in vines during the warmer months, where you can take advantage of the bbq and fire pit. A sofa bed is situated in the living room for an extra guest or two. A portacot can be provided if requested but you need to provide your own mattress and cot bedding. We also have a high chair available if requested. While it is located out of town, Kardinia Cottage is centrally located to surrounding country towns and regional centres with the well serviced town of Kyabram only a 12 minute drive, Shepparton-Mooroopna 20 minutes and Echuca 40 minutes. We also have parking for large vehicles, trailer or truck. Guest access Guests can explore the large open surroundings of the farm yard or take a walk along the farm tracks - check with the property owners before walking beyond the gateways so as not to interfere with farm operations. Other things to note Kardinia Cottage is located in a rural location. You will find your accommodation well serviced with heating and cooling, quality bed linen and towels, electric blankets for those chilly nights and a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ and fire pit. Please note that as we do not have access to town water our water is supplied via rainwater tanks which is what we use in our house also. We have a carbon filter on this water supply but if you believe this rainwater may be a problem for you you will need to bring bottled water for drinking or boil the water. We also ask that guests consider the limited availability of this water when showering.
