Whether you're seeking a romantic escape for couples or a family adventure, this dome has it all. It's gorgeous, fresh, clean, and NEW! This will be a vacation to remember! The space PLEASE read the entire listing before booking! No surprises then and it will most certainly answer any questions you may have! I won't lie, this place is amazing! Steps to Rollins Lake on your very own private path. It has all the comforts, without sacrificing the "glamping" feel! It offers a unique privacy that you don't often find. Parking and Road- Off the main driveway, there is a short gravel road you take to the dome. It is a couple hundred feet long and then you need to turn around. If you are not a confident driver, or are concerned it will be difficult for your car, you can park at the bottom. Still pretty close (a couple hundred feet). It will take an extra couple minutes to walk. ACCOMMODATION- Upon entering, you'll be greeted by the warmth of a heated and cooled interior, providing comfort throughout the year. This is a spacious, yet cozy dome. The dome boasts tastefully decorated interiors with luxurious furnishings and a king-size bed with luxurious Pottery Barn Bedding, ensuring a good night's sleep. EXTRA GUESTS- For additional guests beyond two, there is a full-size convertible sofa bed. Best suited for one adult or two children(small people). If you're comfortable with cozy sleeping arrangements, just remember to add a third or fourth person to your reservation. ~Spring through Fall~ Seasonal Glamping tent is available for extra fee, not included in the original booking. If disturbed, but not booked you will be charged at the regular rate. Please see below. This is available Spring through Fall weather permitting. 🏕️ Glamping Tent Option- or OPTION for 2 extra guests beyond the ones that will be using the dome or if you'd like 2 separate sleeping areas for couples, you can have access to an adorable canvas tent set up with Queen Size bed. Perfect for that additional couple and gives everyone their own space. Please communicate in the booking message that this is what you want. There is a supplemental fee per night. Add the total number of guests into the booking reservation and then it is an extra $25 per night. Perfect for kids or another couple. With a queen memory foam mattress and bedding, this tent is on a platform that overlooks a beautiful section of forest. 🌲 (include in your booking message that you would like to book the tent and I will send a request for the additional funds.). And you will love it. No need to bring any additional bedding. And so cute. Not available year-round. Please note- With the add on of the text this brings the total guest count allowed up to 6 people. But only 4 max in the winter season without the tent. DECK- There is a picnic table, bar with 4 bar stools, 2 chairs, and a gas fire pit. We provide the gas! BATHROOM- The private bathroom is 15' from the dome and is a beautiful, chapel-like experience. We wanted it to have a camping feel but in the most special, unique, and luxurious way! It's a beautiful space. On-demand hot water for those long showers. There is a separate shower room, a separate sink area, and a separate toilet room. Robes and Turkish towels are located in the basket, inside the dome or your tent! KITCHEN- Our well-equipped kitchenette has everything you need for a convenient and enjoyable stay. CERAMIC WATER DISPENSER- Filled with clean, fresh drinking water located inside the dome. Make coffee, tea, hot chocolate, or anything you may need in the dome. Running water is 15' away at the bathroom sink for dishes etc. REFRIGERATOR and FREEZER- Not a mini fridge. Not a sub Zero either. TOASTER OVEN- With lots of settings, toast or bake a little something. MICROWAVE- Whip up quick and delicious meals or heat leftovers with ease. COFFEE- Start your mornings right with a fresh cup of coffee using the Keurig machine. Coffee pods, creamer, and sugar are provided for your convenience. Electric Hot Water Kettle- Whether it's tea or instant soup, hot water is at your fingertips. Dishes & Utensils- We've got you covered. Webber BBQ- Fire up the gas barbecue on the deck for a delightful outdoor cooking experience. We provide the gas! I'm not one to give any other rules than be respectful, but it sure is nice when someone takes the time to thoroughly wash their dishes. There is a huge sink, drying rack, soap, and sponge located at the bathroom. :) Please do not put dirty dishes away. GOODIES- To make your stay even more enjoyable, we provide a selection of snacks, drinks, coffee, tea, sugar, and basic cooking essentials like salt, pepper, and oil. You'll have everything you need to prepare a quick bite or a full meal right at your fingertips. Enjoy the flexibility of dining in or dining out. The welcome book lists many local restaurants, stores, and services. We even have DoorDash! ENTERTAINMENT- Stay entertained with modern amenities, including a TV with a hard drive full of movies, music, and TV shows, a Bose Soundbar, and a PlayStation for cozy evenings indoors. An electric fireplace adds to the ambiance, creating a magical feeling inside. Yes, we have wifi! And cellular service works just fine. HEATING AND COOLING- There is an electric fireplace I love for ambiance. It also heats. Mini Split- But for real heat that will warm up the dome fast, there is a unit on the wall. Look for the REMOTE for the AC HEAT on the WALL partition near the refrigerator!! Make sure it is below 70 at night or you will wake up uncomfortably warm. Ceiling Fan with different light settings. Look for a REMOTE on the partition near the refrigerator!! There are cool and warm light settings. I love the warm light for a cozier ambiance! Deck Light switch is inside near table on the wall. CREEPY CRAWLERS- You are in the FOREST. There may be a spider, a fly, or a critter, sometimes even a frog! They are typically harmless little guys that live in nature. No need for panic. We try to keep things as clean as possible, but you are glamping in style, in the forest, not staying at the Four Seasons in the city! We also get little spider webs popping up constantly from harmless spiders. LAUNDRY- Please note that there is no washer or dryer in the dome. However, for longer stays, we can arrange to wash a load of laundry at the main house for an additional fee. Feel free to contact us for more information. PETS- We are happy to welcome WELL-BEHAVED dogs as we understand that they are part of your family. Please add your well-behaved pet to your RESERVATION, and note that there is a FEE associated with bringing them. To maintain cleanliness, we kindly request that pets are NOT ALLOWED on the furniture or to use our bedding and blankets. We will PROVIDE a clean dog bed and bowls for your furry friend. If we find your pets have been on the furniture or bedding I will reach out for an extra fee. We want this place to stay as nice as possible for everyone. SCENIC VIEWS AND PRIVACY- Step outside onto the expansive deck with deck seating and a picnic table, perfect for outdoor dining while taking in the breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding forest. Privacy is paramount here, making it an ideal spot for a peaceful retreat. Steps from the deck, just beyond the teepee, there is a marked pathe that says LAKE ACCESS with and arrow. This is your PRIVATE route to the lake. Take a left at the bottom for the dam or a right to make you way the the road on left that will take you to the little point where we swim and hang out. ATTITUDE- At our dome, we embrace an all-inclusive environment and hope you and your guests will do the same. We do not discriminate or impose any political views, and we expect mutual respect from our guests. We believe in peace, love, and acceptance for all, regardless of race, gender, orientation, or any other characteristic. YOUNG ADULTS- While we warmly welcome younger guests to book the cabin, we kindly request that they be respectful, we understand that we all have to start somewhere. We love having young people around, but please remember to be considerate. We want everyone to have a great experience and to be welcomed back! Please keep in mind that our dome is not a hotel. As it is a home, minor issues may arise, and we will do everything possible to address them promptly. While it's highly unlikely, a water pipe could break, freeze, or a power outage may occur (especially during high fire danger or snowstorms when rolling blackouts may be enforced). Rest assured, we will do our best to handle any such situations, and we even have a generator as a backup. Renting an Airbnb requires some level of understanding, so we appreciate your coolness and understanding in such circumstances. If you prefer a different experience, an Airbnb may not be the best fit for you. HOSTS- Please note that we reside on the property, so you may occasionally hear or see us, as well as our pets. However, we will always reach out ahead of time if we ever need to swing by. This also means we are close if you need anything! But you will have a wonderful feeling of privacy! LAKE TOY RENTALS- We also offer seasonal lake toy rentals, primarily during summer and fall. We set up a time to drop you off with the equipment and pick you up. No parking or boat ramp fees to pay. We do have 3 accommodations on the property. So in summer if you are interested then book ahead or they may not be available. PADDLE BOARDS- PADDLE BOARDS- ($120) for 2 paddle boards for the day. Includes leash, Personal flotation device, and paddles. If you only want one, it's the same price. This is taking into account the time we spend to deliver and pick up. No time restrictions on the rental. But we will need a little notice before a pick up. MEGA PADDLE BOARD- 15' long and 4' wide, this board can hold up to 1000 lbs and accommodate 2-5 (3 adults max) people and a dog for ($130), these come with everything you need, life vests and 2 paddles. It is VERY stable and nearly impossible to tip. If you have a large dog then this is the one you want. KAYAKS- available for rent for ($130) for an entire day. Please let us know your preferred launch time, and when you are ready to have the equipment picked up, simply give us a call. We drop you off and pick you up. FISHING BOAT- If you're interested in fishing or just cruising around we have a small fishing boat that can accommodate up to 3 people or 2 people and a dog. The rental cost is $300 and INCLUDES a full tank of gas, which will last you an entire day and the boat launch fee. Even if you're not fishing, it's a fun experience to explore the lake and discover different swim spots. We will take you, along with the boat, pay the launch fee, and off you go. When you're ready to return call 45 minutes ahead and we will come and pick you up. We are flexible with the rental duration, and one tank of gas provides ample time for a full day of enjoyment. Please try to set this up in advance as we also have a busy schedule. Nearby, within a 10-minute drive or a 15-minute walk, you'll find Rollins Boat Rental, where you can rent pontoon boats and ski boats. Long Ravine Campground features a floating slide for both kids and adults, and it's also reachable within a 15-minute walk (seasonal). INFORMATIONAL BOOK- To assist you during your stay, we have created a welcome book with important phone numbers and information about the cabin and local activities. Guest access Our 31-acre property will make you feel like you are in your own private oasis and just steps from the lake where you can explore. You will feel right and home with plenty of your own space! Outdoor Activities- You have your very own, short path to the lake from the dome! Walk off the deck and to the left you will see some logs lining a path. Follow along and be at the water in 2-3 minutes! For nature enthusiasts, the location offers a plethora of activities just a 5-minute walk or 10-minute drive away at Rollins Lake. Enjoy fishing, boating, kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming, and hiking in this picturesque setting. We also offer fishing boat, kayak, and paddle board rentals when weather permits. Nearby Attractions- If you're looking to explore the area, you're only 15 minutes from the charming town of Grass Valley and just 8 minutes from Colfax, providing access to local shops, dining, and cultural experiences.
