We love cooking in this kitchen with gas oven, pots & pans, baking sheets, muffin pan, charcuterie boards and farmhouse sink, everything you need to cook the perfect meal. In order to keep the kitchen safe, sanitary, and free of cross contamination, we do not provide any salt/pepper/seasoning/spices and open container liquids (honey, cooking oil, and other items like this) . Sorry for any inconvenience this could cause. CHILDREN/INFANTS: We are kid-friendly; The cabin is NOT Baby proofed. We do NOT supply Children furniture/Baby beds. Limited floor space for crawling babies The cabin has sharp corners, staircase with exposed railing, floor heater vents in the floor, real hardwood floors nailed down & a wood burning stove in center of living room. Please note that we have a security Ring camera above the front door covering the driveway area, it will be on during your stay and the microphone is turned off. We donate $2 per reservation to Big Bear Alpine Zoo, a rehabilitation facility and a sanctuary for indigenous wild animals that have been permanently impacted by human behavior and unable to return to the wild. Take time to visit and explore their new location in Moonridge (15 minutes away from the cabin) and meet some amazing animals. Guest access As our Guest here, you have this entire A-frame cabin to yourself. The shed is kept locked and not available for guest use —as this is where we store all our supplies and equipment. EV Charging There is Level 2 Charger complimentary for you to use; located in designated parking area. Parking There is a flat driveway that can fit up to 2 cars. Please only park in the driveway and do not block our neighbors. Other things to note We are Dog Friendly (NO CATS). Pups are an extra $50 Pet Fee/Per Stay (1 dog policy, second dog would be possibly considered upon request depending on size and breed and subject to extra pet fee of $50. Pets must please be discussed and disclosed during booking. Keep in mind that we are nestled in the forest among other furry (less tame) creatures. All Dogs must be leashed at all times (no exceptions) and picked up after to keep the wild animals off our property. We are dog lovers which is why we allow you to bring your pup. Please follow our Doggie Guidelines as this helps us to continue to allow pets and avoid damage. Doggie Guidelines: - We are close to the forest and there is predatory wildlife roaming around; please be alert with your dog. - We highly encourage your dog be on-leash at all times - Our backyard and property does not have a fence therefore no unleashed dogs in yard - Dogs should be friendly, quiet, and house trained - Dogs are not allowed on the furniture, sofa, blankets and bedding; please bring blanket/doggie bed for your dog - Please bring food & water bowls - Big Bear is very dog-friendly, so please consider taking your pup with you whenever you're not at the cabin. -Dogs cannot be left alone in the home uncrated for any reason at any time - Please cleanup after your dog - Your doggie is welcome and LOVED!
