Well-appointed kitchen, convenient main-level bedroom and bath with additional two bedrooms and bath upstairs. Smart TV, Super Nintendo, Arcade games, board games & books. Quality queen and full-size beds with memory foam mattresses and variety of soft/firm pillows. Short walk to lighthouse, Castle Danger Brewery, variety of restaurants, trails, beach & playground. This historic, 100-yr. old time capsule still boasts much of its classic, retro architecture blended with modern updates to make for a truly unique experience! With two bedrooms up and one down on the main level, your party of up to 6 adults and 2 children will sleep snugly and comfortably in the well-appointed bedrooms featuring queen-sized beds, bunk bed, dressers, nightstands (and even children’s books for bedtime stories!). The kitchen is fully stocked to make family meals, brew coffee or bake some pizza in the oven while the open and bright dining and living rooms offer plenty of space to socialize and be cozy. The oversized bathroom on the upper-floor is stocked with towels, hair-dryer and shower needs while the unique half-bath on the main level is a marvel not to be missed (was it always there or added later… we don’t know!) Outside amenities include a large front porch swing (a guest favorite) for morning tea or coffee while the backyard fire pit is a hit for winding down the day’s adventures with some smores! Additionally, some favorite walkable activities shared by guests have been: • Paddleboarding and kayaking at Burlington Bay (rentals available through local vendor) • Walks to the Two Harbors lighthouse and boardwalk • Exploring the town and walking trails along Lake Superior • Enjoying local restaurants, ice cream, shops and live music at the brewery • Sunrise coffee at Lakeview park overlooking Lake Superior Note from the host: We love hosting families. If you travel with infants or toddlers (just like we used to do!), please note that our current baby amenities include a feeding chair and a portable crib. We do not offer baby gates, cabinet safety locks, and other baby proofing tools that you may have at home. Guest access You will have access to the entire home along with the private parking driveway (fits one car or two cars snugly), the backyard with the fire pit as well as the front porch with a fun swing.
