In the winter, enjoy the snow play at Eskimo Hill or strap on your snowshoes and explore the winter landscapes around Manzanita Lake. Gas/grocery are only a few mins drive. The space Our charming cabin offers a rustic yet comfortable atmosphere, with 2 bedroom, 2 full bath home. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by the breathtaking panorama of mountains ridge that stretch as far as the eye can see. The property's prime hillside location ensures that you can enjoy the 180-degree views of the surrounding peaks, offering a stunning backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation. The large windows throughout the property allow natural light to flood in and provide every room with a front-row seat to the mountain spectacle. Whether you're sipping your morning coffee in the cozy living room, preparing a meal in the well-equipped kitchen, or unwinding in one of the comfortable bedrooms, the mountain views are never far from sight. INTERNET: Starlink Satellite WIFI with an average speed of 45-125MB/s, sufficient for movie streaming. KITCHEN and DINNING: The open kitchen has a large butcher block countertop. It is fully equipped with an electric range, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, oven…etc. A large custom dining room table is perfect for entertaining and having a family dinner. OUTDOOR: A generous, private terrace beckons you to embrace the great outdoors, whether it's for a morning yoga session or an evening barbecue with family and friends. There's no better place to witness the awe-inspiring sunsets and starry nights that grace the mountains. BEDROOMS: The large master bedroom has a king-sized bed with an en-suite bathroom and a walk-in closet. The second bedroom has a twin and a twin bunk bed that is great for adults or kids. Things to Do: * Hiking and biking trails inside Lassen Volcanic National Park (Lassen Peak, Cinder Cone, Bumpass Hell and more) * Fishing in Hat Creek or other nearby rivers and lakes. * Wildlife watching – keep an eye out for deer, foxes, and a variety of bird species. * Stargazing – the night skies in this area are perfect for astronomy enthusiasts. STR Lic#23-0026 Guest access Guests will have access to the entire cabin and we provide all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Items include a fully equipped kitchen with basic kitchen supplies - oil, salt, pepper, spices, coffee and tea. We supply body wash in the bathrooms. We also have board games and an Xbox game console for your family's enjoyment! The laundry room has a washer and a dryer with detergent provided. Other things to note We have a level 2 EV charger outside the garage for an additional cost. If you need to charge your EV at our cabin please let us know ahead of time and we will turn on the charger before your arrival. We will let you know the exact amount of electricity you used to charge your EV during your stay, and charge you what the Electric company will charge us for the KWH used at the end of your trip. For the Tesla owner please bring your charging adapter. There is a gas station, market, Dollar General, pizza restaurant/bar and an ice cream shop just a few minutes drive away from the cabin. During the winter snow season, Shingletown can see some snow accumulation. Carry a snow chain or a 4-wheel drive vehicle are recommended. Also in the mountains, power outages are unpredictable in the winter seasons. This home does not have a generator and while it's not common, it may experience an outage during storm season. The heaters run on gas so they will be operational during the outage.
