The house has 3 bedrooms,2AC and one nonAC, all with attached bathrooms (two with heaters),a hall and a common bathroom that surrounds a central courtyard known as naalukettu, a hallmark of traditional Kerala architecture. All rooms are well ventilated with mosquito netted windows.Hall has dining table with 6 chairs, sofa set and a diwan.Modular kitchen with work area has fridge, gas stove, Aquaguard water purifier, mixie etc. Corridor leading to Pooja room and a patio are ideal for relaxation. It has a long heritage and has been lovingly maintained and renovated many times. In its latest renovation, we've managed to seamlessly blend the old-world charm with modern comforts, ensuring a unique and comfortable stay. You can enjoy the natural beauty with a pond, a swing under the shade of trees, and a hammock offering a serene space for relaxation. We are developing the house in the 1.25 acre fenced property into an ideal farm house. Escape to the countryside amidst the tranquil paddy fields and rural settings of Kerala on a bicycle offers you the chance to immerse yourself in rural life & serene surroundings. Guest access For those seeking rejuvenation, we have tie up with an expert Ayurveda doctor and therapists both male and female with extensive experience, offering Pancha karma treatment either at our homestay or at his location just 500 meters away. For those interested in boating, we can arrange Shikari boat service in Alappuzha backwaters with advanced notice. Other things to note A maid for cooking/cleaning can be arranged on request. A cab with driver can be arranged on advance notice. Nearest supermarket is within 1 kilometre and two small shops for essentials are 100 metres from our gate.
