Forest Cabin in Upper Crystal Creek

A perfect place to escape, the cabin overlooks a rainforest gully, and is surrounded by both rural farms and forest, a perfect nature getaway. Our neighbourhood is a quiet dead end street that is bordered by World Heritage listed Rainforest. Lovely swimming holes on our street and a few cafes within 5mins drive. The space Inside you will find 2 Queen bedrooms, freshly renovated bathroom and open plan kitchen / living room which opens onto a timber deck with bbq. Eco friendly- Solar power, rain water, fan cooled. Please note there is no air -con. There are fans in each room and large sliding doors to catch the breeze, creeks nearby to cool off in. We are elevated in the hills and it’s always a few degrees cooler than the coast, especially evenings. Two oil column heaters and electric blankets are provided during winter season to keep you snug. Simple breakfast provisions and seasonal Farm garden goodies provided Wifi (starlink) available. No TV please bring devices as needed. Up to 4 guests, no children under the age of 7 due to open decks and unfenced creeks on property. Infants under 12 months permitted. NOTE: The listing price for 2 guests is for one bedroom, if you require seperate bedrooms for 2 guests there is an additional once off charge of $50 for linen, please message to let me know so both bedrooms with linens will be prepared and a request for the additional fee will be sent through via airbnb. 🙏 Infared Sauna (Sunlighten) available in gardens next to our carport for use on request for an additional fee of $50 (for 1-3 persons) Other things to note Located 15 mins from Murwillumbah, known for its Art scene, cafes and great secondhand, antique shops, also home of the Rail Trail, Tweed Regional Art Gallery and Bistro Livi - won best regional restaurant in NSW in 2023!
