The house was completely renovated in 2022, i.e. a modern renovation has been made to the old grandmother's cottage. In addition to silence, a rural holiday offers the opportunity to sauna in a barrel sauna or smoke sauna with a hot tub. The space The total size of the apartment is 78m2 and can accommodate up to 4 people. The bedroom has a 160 cm double bed, the living room has two sofas, an extra bed and one armchair bed (size 80 cm x 200 cm). The toilet bathroom has a washing machine and an electric sauna. Both the living room and bathroom have underfloor heating. According to the contract, a barrel sauna is available outside, a smoke sauna built in 1972 for an additional fee, and a tub. The house is located by the river, so you can swim at any time. The use of the barrel sauna is free of charge. Smoke sauna for an additional fee of €150, with a heated tub for a total of €250. Heating is only possible if the home owners are at home, so please ask about the possibility in advance. Two SUP boards are available on the beach at no extra charge. Guests also have access to a hut where they can fry sausages, for example. There are ready-made trees in the house. Guest access In addition to the entire apartment, guests can stay on their own terrace in the yard and in the cabin, which is located in the same yard. The owners of this property live in the adjacent house, which is located on the same plot. Other things to note Next to the property/on the other side of the river is the Venekoski Summer Theater, which has several performances during June-July. Shows last about 2 hours. There are two different roads to the destination, one of which passes through the summer theater. The use of that road during shows is blocked. The show times for June-July 2026 will be published later. EV charging is prohibited. The nearest electric charging station can be found in Jari-Pekka (Pieksämäentie 15).
