This cozy studio is nestled beside our own home. We're a couple who have lived and worked in Siargao for the past 7years. The studio is compact yet thoughtfully designed, featuring a kitchenette equipped with essential cookware and dinnerware, a small fridge for your refreshments, private toilet and bathroom, ample storage for your belongings, and climate control options (AC and fan) to ensure your comfort. The space This private space is designed for comfort and convenience. The studio is compact but well-appointed, making efficient use of space while offering all the essentials for your stay. The studio is next to our main house, offering you privacy while still being close enough if you need assistance or have questions during your stay. Guest access During your stay, you’ll have exclusive access to the studio apartment. The studio has its own separate entrance. While the studio is on the same property as our main house, it is a distinct space reserved entirely for guests. Please note that the main house is our private residence, and we ask that guests respect this boundary. The shared gate and entrance area are the only common spaces, and they offer a chance for friendly interaction while still maintaining privacy for both parties. If you need any assistance, have questions, or just want to say hello, we're just next door! Other things to note Important Things to Know Before Booking: Our space is a unique island experience, designed for those who embrace the local culture and environment. Please take note of the following, as we want to ensure it’s the right fit for you: Caretaker Visits: For weekly or monthly stays, our caretaker will stop by at least once a week for mandatory cleaning to keep the studio in top shape. Pet-Friendly Home: We have pets—a dog and two friendly cats—who are part of our family. The cats may pop into the studio from time to time. If you're uncomfortable with occasional visits from our furry friends, this might not be the space for you. Natural Airflow & Sounds: Our studio features decorative breezeblocks (no glass windows) to promote natural airflow, meaning you’ll feel the island breeze and hear the lively sounds of the community, from birds chirping to roosters crowing. If you’re sensitive to noise or wind, this may not be the best fit. Local Neighborhood: We are located within a vibrant local neighborhood, close to the vegetable and fish markets. At times, you may catch the natural smells of fresh produce and seafood. If that’s not your style, we completely understand. Embrace Island Living: Living on the island means flexibility. Expect to hear the sounds of nature and local life, encounter tropical insects, and experience occasional power fluctuations or brownouts. We don’t have a backup generator, so we recommend bringing portable chargers and enjoying outdoor activities during these moments. Important: If any of these factors—pets, local noise, breezeblocks instead of glass windows, market smells, or island-style living—don’t align with what you’re looking for, we encourage you to explore other options. We want to ensure your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, and this space is best suited for those who appreciate these elements of island life.
