Rivah Retreat is a one-of-a-kind luxury getaway tucked away on the pristine North Fork of the Shenandoah River. An expansive retreat and custom cabin spread over six acres of riverfront property located just 90 minutes from the White House. With a top-notch structure, modern amenities, hot tub, gas fireplace, spacious elevated deck, board games, movies, and so much more! Enjoy fly fishing from the private riverbank, quiet walks, abundant wildlife, smores at the outdoor firepit and relaxing. The space Located on a quiet private road the property is wooded with a wide trail that winds down to the private riverfront where you can fish and picnic. Abundant wildlife visits the property including deer, rabbits, foxes, wild turkeys, skunks, groundhogs, woodpeckers, hawks and the occasional black bear. Inside the retreat building are two bedrooms, two full luxury baths with walk in showers, a modern kitchen and a main room with a gas fireplace. The baths have numerous amenities as well as robes and slippers. There is a mini fridge/freezer in the kitchen. There is also a stocked beverage refrigerator by the fireplace. An abundant selection of breakfast foods and snacks are provided. Outside is a large wrap around deck overlooking the river, a patio with an adjacent hot tub and a firepit. The property has a full house backup generator to provide electricity in case of power outages. While the retreat feels remote it is only a ten minute drive from the welcoming main street of historic Woodstock. Here you can find charming shops, galleries and restaurants. Within a 15 mile drive are numerous wineries, antique stores and parks. Guest access The entire cabin is available for exclusive guest use. There are two master suites. One has a queen bed and the other a king bed. Both have a full bath with showers. Other things to note Parking is in a dedicated area on the road, it is a 120 foot walk down a gravel path to the retreat. A wagon is provided to carry your bags. The cabin has well water. in October 2024 we installed a new water filtering system that addresses the sulfur smells that sometimes occurred. Bottled water is provided for drinking, cooking and making coffee. Firewood and propane for the grill are provided. Due to the wildlife do not store food or coolers outside.
