Description
Experience the allure of a formerly meticulously restored presbytery circa 1937 nestled in the serene mountain area of Petite Nation, Quebec's prime destination for authentic local adventure. With its private lake access, the Château offers a journey through time, seamlessly combining vintage charm with modern comfort for an unforgettable and peaceful getaway. It's approx. 30 minutes north to Mont Tremblant ski and hiking resort and 30 minutes south to the quaint boutiques of Montebello. The space Inside You will be welcomed on the ground floor by an inviting living room with Canadian-made leather sofas and a see-through fireplace that will surely keep you warm during wintertime. Next for culinary enthusiasts is the well designed and fully equipped kitchen with a retro wall phone that will take you back in time. The dining room on the same floor comes with an antique oak dining table and chairs that seat 10 comfortably and are original to the house and will certainly be the place for family meals. Beside the dining room is the game room where you will be testing your foosball's skills, challenging your entourage to 14 arcades games, or trying to connect 4 in row on the wall mounted game. Upstairs, you will find 5 bedrooms featuring custom-made, wrought iron bed with organic mattresses and high-quality pillows with thoughtfully chosen bedding that will likely include either handmade quilts (there are 10 on the property) or goosed own duvets. If you are planning on catching up on work, there is an antic office desk and chair that is suitable for you. The Chateau also has two full bathrooms one on each floor. Outside Outdoors purists will enjoy the ultimate soaking experience through our wood-burning hot tub. Our fire pit will be the spot for those chilling nights, s'mores, storytelling, and/or contemplating the sky. Last but not least is the private lake access where you will experience nature, peace, and/or engage to water activities such as swimming, kayaking (kayaks and pedal boat are available) paddle boarding, fishing, or just sun tanning on the dock. It is also ideal for practicing yoga and/or meditation. We are looking forward to hosting you at Château Saint-Émile. Guest access Guests can access all areas of the house. Other things to note The château also offers a couple of comfortable airbeds, conveniently stored in the bedroom closets, should you need additional sleeping arrangements. Our wood-fired hot tub offers a unique and authentic countryside experience. For hygiene and safety reasons, each guest is required to fill the tub with fresh water and start the fire themselves. Don’t worry—we provide clear instructions and all the firewood you’ll need to enjoy it. Private stairs lead directly from the property to the dock and lake, offering exclusive access to the water. Nestled in the mountains, the descent includes a number of steps—but the journey is part of the charm. Professionally installed in May and June of 2021, the stairs and dock are exceptionally safe, stable, and secure. Thoughtfully placed benches along the way invite you to pause, rest, and take in the stunning views. You'll also have access to the basement, where you'll find a washer, dryer, and the hose used to fill the spa. For your comfort, we provide a couple of personal air conditioners to create a cool and relaxing atmosphere throughout the space. On especially warm days, a powerful 15,000 BTU portable air conditioner is also available to ensure you stay perfectly refreshed.
