Come and restore your peace of mind and connection with nature at La Dolce Vita Ranch. High in the Rocky Mtns, you will forget the sounds of traffic or city lights. Here, you will fill your senses with fresh mountain air, endless stars, sub-alpine meadows, abundant wildlife, & a peak-to-peak panorama, all on a 450-ac working ranch and access to Pike Nat'l Forest. Our custom cabin is quaint & cozy with a wood fireplace, spacious living area, a home theater, & priceless views from the front porch. The space Our stylish guest cabin is custom built with high quality insulation, windows, and hand-painted Mexican tiles. We are totally off-grid, and power is provided exclusively by solar and wind energy, while water comes from a sparkling clean high mountain well. (Most recent well test was 2023.) There is 1 queen bed in a private bedroom. There are 2 foldout sofas, 1 queen and 1 twin, that are in communal areas. Surrounded by wave upon wave of mountain views, you will have access to 450 acres of pristine native rangeland, hiking trails, and national forest access. The historic town of Guffey, CO is only a 20 minute drive away and provides a post office, natural market, bakery, distillery, and two restaurants, one with live music and dancing on Saturday nights! Within 1 hour is the infamous Pikes Peak, Eleven-Mile Reservoir, and the Royal Gorge! Nearest airports are located in Colorado Springs (1.5 hours) and Denver (2.5 hours). Guest access Access from the nearest highway is via a 4-mile private gravel road with multiple gates. Specific instructions to arrive at the cabin will be provided 48 hours before arrival date. There is ample parking for 2 vehicles and 1 trailer, with permission. We ask guests to contact us directly to inquire about pricing for boarding horses or other pets. Other things to note Are you looking for winter activities? The Guest Cabin is located only 1 hour south of reknown Breckenridge ski resort. The route is Hwy 9 and completely avoids all the traffic on I-70! You can enjoy a full day of winter sports and return to the ranch without any hassle. If you like ice fishing, Eleven-Mile, Spinney, and Antero reservoirs are only a 30-45 minute drive from the ranch. For year round activities, in less that 1 hour you can explore the Guffey Gorge and Paradise Cove, Manitou Springs, the Florrisant Fossil Beds or Wolf Sanctuary, the Royal Gorge in Canyon City, Dinosaur Museum in Woodland Park, Cottonwood and Mt Princeton Hot Springs near Buena Vista, and millions of acres of public lands!
