Description

Enjoy stunning views of the River Camel from the balcony of The Flower Pot, a five minute flat walk from central Wadebridge. This recently renovated home is ideal for enjoying the Camel Trail, which is metres from the front door. With private parking, it's a short drive to beaches including Rock and Polzeath - or a half hour cycle to Padstow. Pets are welcome too and we can accept up to two dogs. The space The Flower Pot sleeps six plus babies, in two double bedrooms (one en suite) and a third room with bunk beds. We are on the Camel Estuary in North Cornwall, close to famous surfing beaches, moorland and woodland, with the UK's most famous cycle path metres from the front door. Our place is right opposite the River Camel, with a balcony offering views up and down the river and across to the park, cricket pitch and playing fields on the other side. We also have an enclosed patio for tea and coffee in the sun, private parking, a front garden with plenty of flowers, and a selection of books and games. North Cornwall is famous for its food scene, with neighbouring Padstow and Port Isaac each boasting Michelin starred restaurants. We're just as happy with fresh fish and chips, though. The house is also well placed as a base to explore the wider area with good road connections on to Truro, Newquay and the Eden Project. Wadebridge is a market town which hosts the Royal Cornwall Show every year - one of the biggest of its kind in the UK. There is also a popular folk festival every August, as as well as artisan markets in the town hall. The town has the highest number of independent shops in the region as well as an independent cinema, something locals are very proud of. With a population of around 8,000, it's big enough to have all the amenities people need for a holiday, but small enough to be able to walk around and get to know. We're very happy to give personalised recommendations for places to explore locally, so feel free to let us know what kind of things you enjoy and we will have a think!
