The Chalet is a newly built wooden house featuring a floor-to-ceiling panoramic view of the lake and all modern amenities. ♥ Rest and rewind in our three bedrooms: our chalet comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests. Each bedroom has lake view from your bed, soft 100% organic cotton sheets, and ample storage space, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Wake up to the sound of birds chirping and the gentle rustling of the trees outside, ready to embark on another day of adventure. ♥ The fully equipped kitchen boasts modern amenities, making it easy to whip up delicious meals using fresh local ingredients and using our fully packed spice rack. Enjoy your culinary creations at the dining table while taking in the majestic scenery. ♥ We recently upgraded the espresso machine to a De'Longhi Dedica Arte, pouring the perfect coffee every single time. ♥ We love space: our living room with its high ceiling offers space for yoga, dancing and simply hanging out with friends. Work or relax on the cushions on the low table or dine up to our 6-seaters table. ♥ Refresh yourself in our bathroom, equipped with modern showers and wooden compost toilets. The Chalet has a solar heater, so you can enjoy guilt-free long warm showers. ♥ Drink spring water from our 3 stages filter in the kitchen. No need to carry plastic around, this water is great for you and the planet. ♥ Never lose contact: our high-speed Starlink satellite internet can manage several video calls and streaming without any issues. ♥ Enjoy close activities: Go kayaking on the lake and enjoy the reserve Tzankujil on the lake shore. Eagle's Nest is right next door, with yoga classes, concerts, ecstatic dances, and a sauna available for you daily. Our house is a 20-minute walk outside of town along a beautiful trail, so make sure you have good shoes on and pack light. The views on the hike already will take your breath away! Our team will help If you need your suitcase to be carried to the house, just let us know in advance and we'll sort if for you. We will be meeting you in town to walk you through the trail, or you can choose to come in by yourself, it's up to you! You can reach out to us anytime during your stay, our house is just next door to the Chalet. We’ll be happy to help in any way and provide tips for where to go in town. We fell in love with San Marcos ourselves so we ll know what’s happening Our story: We landed at the lake in March 2021, Brieuc (French) and Kitara (US) decided to build our family home. While waiting for the family to grow, we are happy to share that home in which we put so much love into. We hope you love it as much as we do! Access: Please note that there is no road access or parking on the property. However, we are happy to help with a pick-up service with our trusted tuktuk drivers. We offer as well a service to carry up your luggage to the Chalet. No smoking inside the Chalet: We kindly request that you refrain from smoking inside the chalet. If you need to smoke, please do so outside and at a distance from the chalet to prevent smoke from entering. Quiet hours: Our quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am. During these times, we strive to minimize noise to allow for a peaceful environment.
