Superb home in beautiful French village

The village of Lavoûte-Chilhac lies in the heart of the Haute Loire valley, in the foothills of the volcanoes of the Massif Central mountains. It is classified as one of the ‘most beautiful villages' in France. Our lovely home is made of stone and wood in the traditional style, and its three bedrooms and large dining/living/kitchen area can accommodate up to 6 people. It looks out over the Allier river and the hills beyond and is a short walk from the main square. The space Our spacious home has a large sitting/dining area with a wood burning stove. Next to it is a well-equipped kitchen and breakfast bar. From here you can sit on the windowsill and can watch the river rushing by. Stairs lead down to the bottom bedroom, with a toilet and sink, and up to the main bedroom, where there is also a separate bath, shower and toilet. From here steep stairs lead to top room with two single beds, and bathroom. Note that the stairs are through the main bedroom. All stairs are quite steep, so we do have one gate for small children, but they are not suitable for those with access needs. Please note that duvets and pillows are provided but bedding and towels are not.
