Creekside of the moon A-frame glamp. Float, fish and play in the Catskills. Glamp on the Charlotte Creek in a newly built modern tiny a-frame. Sleep under the full moon. A giant moon light hangs over the bed(s) with a stunning reflection in the window at night over the creekview. Perfect for a romantic getaway, fishing trip, or glamping spot in the Catskills. Close to Cooperstown, NY IG @aframe_moon The space A Tiny house a-frame camp with a view of creek. There are two twin beds that can be separate or connected together for a king. Just let me know at booking what you prefer to have set up ahead of time. If no preference is made we will have it set up as a king bed. The small kitchenette includes a hot plate, tea kettle, gravity filtered water dispenser, french press and a mini fridge. We provide 2 gallons of fresh filtered drinking water. The space has a 14 ft center ceiling with a large moon globe. The a-frame is fully insulated and heated. We have a portable AC during the warm months. Firewood is available to purchase on site $5-$10 by the bundle or added to reservation ahead of time. This camp has a heated outhouse with a composting toilet and a small hand washing station. We also provide a pump sprayer with 3 gallons of water for cleaning off. We don’t charge a cleaning fee so please leave leave the property as it was. Bringing your dog is welcome. We charge a $75 pet fee and need to know ahead of time. If you have more than one dog coming please contact us with details ahead of booking. An extra cleaning fee might apply to more than one large dog. Please bring extra towels for pets. The private outdoor shower is open May-October, (weather dependent). The glamp is meant for short stays during the cold months but if you book an extended stay-Health links Specialty Fitness at the Foxcare Center is the closest gym (less than 5 mins away). We are rural, so the facilities very slow, clean and not at all crowded. They have an Olympic pool, showers, a sauna, etc. There are a few other gyms and yoga studios within a 10 minute drive that sell weekly, day passes or single class passes and have great showers, saunas, etc. Suggestions to bring to camp. Cold months: Snow gear, warm clothes, boots Warm months: facial wipes, beach towels, bug spray, sunscreen and a cooler. Guest access The creek is stocked with trout in the spring and you can fish right on the property. It's also a great place to tube or kayak depending on water height. If the water is low grab a book, cooler and chair, and park yourself in the running water. Charlotte creek is some of the cleanest tested water in NYS. A few times a year the water is really rushing high and fast. It's a beautiful view but please do not venture into the water if there's snow run off or excessive rain flooding. 90% of the time the water is less than knee deep. Unfortunately we cannot control the weather. The a-frame fits 2 comfortably with extra outdoor camping available during the summer at a small fee. There's an outhouse with connected storage building for you store any fishing or camping gear when venturing out into neighboring towns. Other things to note Two campfire spots are available. Lower firepit next to the creek has grill grate to cook on open fire. If the water is high it will be moved to the upper driveway. The second is an outdoor mcm fireplace next to the a-frame. Firewood can be purchased on site. For indoor heat there’s a modern electric heater that keeps the space nice and warm. There’s a small propane camp grill on site as well.
