This charming property is located in Weardale in the heart of the stunning Durham Dales, just a couple of miles from the picturesque village of Wolsingham and only twelve miles from the wonderful historic city of Durham with its famous cathedral and excellent shopping and leisure facilities. The beautiful North Pennines are within easy reach and are a paradise for walkers, cyclists and mountain bikers, with glorious landscapes, heather-covered moors, rugged peat lands and magical hay meadows. The space Staying on the farm, guests are welcome to explore the farmland and see the animals including cattle and sheep. There are 100 acres of farmland to explore, including a nature trail, riverside paths, ancient monument, medieval moat and playing field. On entering this charming property, head upstairs to the lovely open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which is spacious and bright with exposed beams and a beautiful view. The lounge is tastefully furnished and equipped with TV and Hi-Fi. You can dine in style in the delightful dining area, and you will find the stylish kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. You will also find a king-size bedroom with luxurious en-suite shower and WC. Exploring further, you will find two bedrooms on the ground floor. There’s a twin room and a king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request). There is also a bathroom on the ground floor, complete with shower over the bath and WC. Stepping outside, you can relax and enjoy the sunshine in a private seating area. The farm shop and cafe are within easy walking distance, and there is also a games room which is shared with the other properties on-site which offers air hockey, table football and table tennis.
