We are a road side motel with new owners breathing life back into its charming rooms and nostalgic feel. These double queen rooms are apart of The Blanc Chalet. Under new ownership, a mother/daughter team are working together to breathe new life into this quant roadside motel. 8 of our 10 double queen rooms have been renovated with hard surface floors, new furniture, accents walls, wallpaper in the bathrooms and beautifully tiled walk in showers (no bath tub). Our goal is to create a home away from home while you explore and adventure in our favorite Midwest town. Whatever occasion brings you to visit, we hope you enjoy your stay and feel right at home. The New Glarus Brewery is a must see when in the area! If it is the main reason for your stay, check their hours and tour times as they are always changing. You enter your room from the chalet hallway. You will get a text with your unique door code before arriving. There is also a lobby with a sitting area and a few tables for you to enjoy a cup of coffee from Trouvaille Coffee Co. We do not have an onsite receptionist in the lobby. We are available by text, phone or here in the Airbnb app. We are often around and would love to chat if our paths do cross. We are set just off the main highway, Highway 69, going through New Glarus. It is a perfect location to jump on the Sugar River trail or walk to charming downtown. With having an ideal location it does come with a bit of road noise, but is muted once you are in your room. You will need your own transportation to get here. There are not ubers/lift in our small charming town. But once you are here our location is very walkable to shopping and restaurants. Also we are an ideal location to stay if you are planning on biking on the Sugar River Trail or the Badger State Trail.
