The space This secluded and quirky 2-bedroom 2-bathroom cottage has ample living space and an equipped kitchen with a thriving herb garden just outside for guest use. The terrace with BBQ facilities opens out onto a magnificent garden that is split into 3 distinct areas. A lawned area in front of the cottage that is ideal to take morning coffee watching the vast bird life drinking from the feeder or sundowners as the wood burns ready for cooking on the BBQ, the wilderness garden is perfect for relaxing in the hammock soaking up the afternoon sun whilst reading a good book, this then leads onto a productive fruit and vegetable garden where guests can help themselves to anything in season. There is plenty to do in this sleepy village on the road to nowhere! The lively Saturday morning market where locals sell their wares followed by breakfast in one of the many coffee shops is a great start to a weekend, and if you are feeling energetic why not join the local 5km village run beforehand! It is easy to explore the village on foot or why not take a donkey drawn cart ride to experience the beauty of the old cottages, dusty roads and surrounding nature. As you amble through the village there are art galleries, a pottery, a local deli selling locally made treats, and antiques shops all brimming with delights. By night, the friendly neighbourhood restaurants serve a variety of traditional and modern cuisine. There is also a donkey sanctuary, wineries and some great walking, hiking and biking trails just a short drive from the village. Imagine…the adventures to be had!
