Huge, Bright, Spacious Double room with Netflix

We are based only 10-minutes outside central Sheffield, and a short drive from the edge of the Peak District National Park. A bright and airy room, with access to our newly refurbished bathroom. This room is on the second floor, with a double bed & memory foam mattress topper. There is also a seating area including a super comfy Sofa. Downstairs, the kitchen is well-equipped and available to use at any time during the stay. **Strictly non-smoking** The space Please note, it is a non-smoking/vaping bedroom. We love meeting new people, and prefer guests who are travelling or visiting for holiday and work, rather than staying in the room all day. We have purpose built this room in our home as a dedicated space for people to stay. We have family and friends who live abroad and we wanted to create somewhere that they could stay when they visit. It also means you can relax and rest in the space and be just as welcome as our family would. We have tried to create a space that is comfortable, peaceful and refreshing. Using calming colours on the walls and furniture that soothe. We have tried to mix all the feels of a luxury hotel room, with a large bedroom at home, and are sure you will leave feeling more rested than when you arrived. We are fortunate to have beautiful Peak District on our doorstep, being 20 minutes’ drive from our house. Also, within 5 minutes’ walk is a very large green space of Osgathorpe Park. If you want or need recommendations of places to visit and walk, food or travel connections, just ask. Guest access We are currently renovating the bottom of our house, and have completed the room you're looking at. We can guarantee there will be no dust, noise, banging or work carried out for the duration of your stay, but it does mean the rest of the house is still having its facelift! Where possible we have provided facilities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Kitchen access with kettle, tea and coffee making facilities, fast, reliable WiFi etc. During your stay We would love to greet in person our guests and if we are not around we got Self check in option available for our guests. Key safes are located at the rear door entrance and we will provide the pin on the arrival time or day. We are also only a call/text away if you need anything, so feel free to message within reasonable hours (8am-11pm). Other things to note As mentioned, we are in the middle of a fairly large-scale renovation project, none of which will affect the quiet/comfort of your stay. However, it does mean that some areas of the house are less presentable than your beautiful room. We really appreciate your understanding in this, and are certain it won't impact how you enjoy the space you have rented. CCTV installed in the communal living room (next to the entrance to the house) for safety & security. Guests are expected to throw away any rubbish into the black/brown/blue waste bins outside of the house. Please note there are steps to climb which may make it unsuitable for those with mobility issues.
