Cozy A-frame cabin with forest views

Create some memories at this unique getaway only 75 miles from downtown Los Angeles. Forest Falls is a quaint mountain town tucked away among the Cedar and Pine trees near a rambling creek. There are plenty of hikes that begin just footsteps from the cabin including California’s tallest year-round waterfall. This 1970s A-frame is a blend of vintage charm with modern amenities. Whether you are off hiking or just catching up on a good book, Mill Creek A-frame is the perfect place to recharge. The space Built in 1974, this vintage cabin is located in the San Bernardino National Forest. BED/BATH: - Downstairs bedroom is the most private with a cozy queen bed and cotton sheets. - Across the hall is the newly renovated bathroom which has a washer, dryer and tiled shower. - Upstairs is a large and spacious loft with three more cozy beds: two twins, one queen and an optional fold down couch that can become a small bed if needed. - Upstairs there is also access to a private sun-filled balcony and a lounge area with a TV, games and toys. KITCHEN/LIVING: - The kitchen is equipped with all the basics to cook your favorite meal. - We have 3 ways to make your morning cup of coffee (French press, Chemex pour-over and Mr Coffee). - The kitchen areas opens up to a spacious living area with floor to ceiling windows (our favorite part). -There is also a small dinning space perfect for puzzling or chess with a nostalgic record player nearby. - In the living room is our vintage Lopi wood burning stove which heats the entire house! We have provided plenty of firewood to keep you warm but be prepared to build and maintain a fire during the winter months as this is our primary heat source. OUTDOOR: -The property is on a 1/4 acre lot surrounded by trees and other cabins. It has easy street access and parking for 3 vehicles. -The cabin has multiple outdoor decks and balconies to enjoy the beautiful trees. - The back deck opens up to our brand new HotSprings hot tub, private fire pit area, a propane BBQ, and outdoor dining table. NEARBY: We are only: • 15 minutes to Yucaipa • 20 minutes to restaurants, shops, and breweries in Redlands • 25 minutes to restaurants and apple picking in Oak Glen • 45 minutes to Big Bear Lake • 60 minutes to Palm Springs • 80 minutes to Joshua Tree National Park Guest access Guests have full access to the whole house. Other things to note This cabin still has its rustic charm! It is heated by a central woodfire stove only. This is how most homes in our community are heated but it takes a little time to warm up in the winter months. We provide plenty of firewood on site as well as full instructions, some space heaters, and of course warm blankets in every room. We also provide humidifiers in the winter to keep our guests as comfortable as possible. This old-fashioned setup is perfect for a cozy evening by the fire. Registration Details CESTRP-2022-01711
