Nice log cabin by Älvdalen

Warmly welcome to a homely and well-planned open plan cottage, lovely views with afternoon and evening sun, and in a good location (near ski tracks, beautiful nature, fishing spots, lake with swimming area and Älvdalen city street). The cottage consists of a newly-renovated kitchen, toilet with shower, sauna and washing machine. Two bedrooms and one sleeping loft, as well as a nice living room with two living areas with a fireplace, sofa and TV. Number of beds: 8 (recommended for a maximum of 6 adults or 4 adults and 4 children) The space In the bedrooms there are two single beds per room that can be put together or apart depending on how you want to sleep. Closet, covers and pillows are available. The sleeping loft is accessed via a ladder, and has four beds (including duvets and pillows) as well as a cozy reading nook. Please note that the sleeping loft has a relatively low railing so not adapted for small children. The kitchen was newly renovated in autumn 2025 and is well-equipped with a full-size fridge and freezer, stove & oven, dishwasher, microwave, porcelain and most of the things needed for cooking. Spices, olive oil, soy, etc. are not included but what is in the cabin is to use (usually most of the spice path). The living room is open with two nice living areas and a large fireplace (wood not included but available for purchase at Ica). A large cozy sofa, 55 inch smart TV with basic offerings (can also be shared with the TV via your phone if you want to access Netflix or other streaming services) and a cabinet full of DVD movies, puzzles and board games. Bathroom has underfloor heating, shower, washing machine as well as a lovely sauna which is heated via electric unit. Parking available and is adapted for two cars in winter and a maximum of three cars in summer. From the parking lot, there is a gravel walkway of about 20-30 meters up to the cabin. In the parking lot there are also garbage bins for food waste and household garbage. Bed linens, towels and cleaning are not included and can unfortunately not be offered for payment. Guests must therefore bring their own bed linen and towels as well as clean the cabin on the day of departure. Guest access Whole house, patio and surrounding plot including parking. No access to a separate storage room or wood stall. Other things to note Charging box for electric car is available, Pulsar Pro. Guests may use the charging box by arrangement and at an additional cost. Wifi is not in the cabin. Wood-fired hot tub is available, but it is only for private use, this as it is an old hot tub that is wood-fired and therefore requires a lot of work to do in order, it normally takes a whole day of preparation before it can be used. In addition, it requires extra equipment as well as a lot of wood and water. There's no smoking in the cottage.
