This beautifully refurbished whole Victorian house has 3 bedrooms over 3 floors, 2 lounges and a sheltered court-yard garden. In the Deal conservation area, a short walk from the castle, this stylish home would be a perfect base for an extended family or a group of friends enjoying the Kent coast: refreshing swims, excellent restaurants or nearby golf, such as Royal St George’s and Royal Cinque Ports. The space Our holiday home would suit a family, 6 friends or 2 small families. The main entrance ground floor, compromises a living room with TV, and 1 of the double bedrooms with en suite toilet. Lower ground is another living room, a large kitchen-diner and a bathroom. The upper floor has 2 large bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and the other a bunk bed and trundle bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, slow cooker and typical tools for cooking or baking. Basic condiments, washing machine and fridge-freezer provided (No microwave). There is a stove top coffee maker, cafetière and milk frother and the table seats 4-6 persons. There is a log burner to take the chill off the cooler nights in the kitchen, when the heating is not fully required. There are French doors to the walled garden, which has a BBQ, seating and sun loungers. It pretty much gets the sun for most of the day. We have plenty of games and a few toys for those rainy days. As this house is newly refurbished respectful care and attention is expected. Guest access This listing is for the whole house. Parking is an issue in the centre of Deal. We would normally unload and then park for free just before the castle. Other things to note We have a selection of beach equipment for loan. Seats, wind-breaker, padded blanket, picnic set. Please arrange in advance if required. Beach shoes are recommended as Deal is a pebble beach. Bed linen & towels are provided alongside basic kitchen provisions. (exc perishables) Getting Around Deal Station is in the centre of town, a 7-minute walk away. The beach castle, restaurant and shops are all a couple of minutes' walk away.
