The entrance showcases a library filled with books and objets d'art. The spacious bedroom is furnished with mid-century modern pieces and includes an ensuite bathroom. Solar powered air conditioning. The bedroom has large French folding doors that lead directly to a private south-facing terrace and the pool. The space Open-plan design floods the space with natural light. Unique modern design elements include a board-form concrete wall, LED light coves, and large steel French doors. Luxury velvet curtains provide complete darkness for sleeping. A premium mattress with luxurious cotton bedding from Merci in Paris, a goose-down duvet, and pillows ensures a restful night's sleep. There are plenty of books to read and a Sonos sound system for entertainment. No TV Underfloor heating keeps the apartment cozy and warm in the winter. The property is ideally located for exploring the best of the Quercy countryside, within easy reach of the charming villages of Lauzerte, Montaigu-de-Quercy and Montcuq. The surrounding area is known for its lively farmers’ markets, medieval villages, vineyards, local restaurants and beautiful rural landscapes. Throughout the week, you can discover different village markets, seasonal festivals and local events, as well as walking and cycling routes through the countryside. It’s a wonderful base for enjoying the food, culture and relaxed pace of life that make this part of southwest France so special. Guest access The apartment is on the ground floor of the main house. It has its own entrance, offering a high level of privacy. Navigating 14 steps is required for access There is a shared heated saltwater pool and lovely terraced gardens. The parking lot provides ample space for up to 7 cars and includes two EV charging stations available on a first-come, first-served basis. Other things to note Please note that access to the pool and Jardin Suite entrance requires navigating 14 steps as the suite is on the lower lever of the property. It may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility or difficulty using stairs. Please see pictures The property has been thoughtfully furnished with rare and vintage furniture, decorative pieces and high-quality surfaces, some of which are delicate and require a little extra care. We ask guests to be mindful and respectful of these pieces during their stay and comfortable caring for these items as requested. A small, friendly 30-pound dog also lives on the property. He very rarely barks, is accustomed to having guests around and is always happy to accept a good cuddle. No other pets guest permitted. There is one other rental unit on the property that accommodates 2 people. Communal areas/pool are shared. Great for groups that want separate dwellings No TV so you can hear the frogs and crickets! The estate is surrounded by working farms, with occasional tractors, ploughing, harvesting and seasonal farming noise. The gardener and pool technician may occasionally be present during guests’ stays
