You will hear horses during your stay. You may also see some bugs during your stay. We have a pest control contract and we also provide bug spray but please remember, we are a farm with animals and bugs are inevitable. For the culinary enthusiasts, the suite features a fully equipped kitchen complete with all the tools you need, including a full-sized stove, refrigerator, and a Keurig coffee maker, making it convenient to whip up your favorite meals while on vacation. The bathroom is graced with a vintage clawfoot tub perfect for leisurely soaks and relaxing evenings. Your comfort is our priority. A mini-split system ensures year-round heating and air-conditioning while complimentary WiFi and a television provide entertainment for your indoor moments. The suite is pet-friendly, we warmly welcome your furry companions for an additional cost of $25 per pet per night. 🚗 We have plenty of free parking for our guests and can accommodate large vehicle parking including horse trailers, utility trailers, Uhaul trucks, 15 passenger vans, RV's, etc. This is a working farm with animals... you will see some bugs. We clean thoroughly and also have some bug spray you are welcome to use. Our current animals at the farm: 12 horses: The line up is constantly changing with boarding needs so I can't keep the names updated! 1 mini pony: BarnJovie 2 donkeys: Biscuit & Gravy 2 adult emus: Taco & Bean 5 baby emus 9 goats: Mocha, Frappe, Feta, Brie, Latte, Butterscotch, Ginger, Salt, & Pepper (4 are fainting goats!) 2 cats: Waffle (she stays up at the main house) & Oreo (he stays in the barn) 2 Flemish Giant rabbits 2 geese 40+ ducks 40+ chickens 17 peacocks 15 Guinea fowl Guest access Guests have access to seamless, self-check-in anytime after 4 PM, via a smart lock system that ensures absolute privacy and hassle-free accessibility. On-site free parking is provided for guests with vehicles, providing an added convenience. You are encouraged to explore the surrounding farm and soak in the serene ambiance. However, kindly avoid entering the horse pastures, chicken areas, and barn doors in respect of our valued farm residents. Other things to note We are positioned ideally, just a stone's throw away from significant locales including the Biltmore Estate, River Arts District, and the Basilica of Saint Lawrence, which enhances the visit experience manifold.
