Property description This annex is a self contained ground floor 1 bed flat within the larger Grade II listed cottage and is surrounded by unspoilt farmland and the beautiful idyllic countryside of rural Cheshire. There are 3 acres of stunning grounds. It is the perfect base for a single person or couples looking for a peaceful break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, (GDPR), this information will not retained after your departure. The owners live in a separate property within the grounds and we like to think of ourselves as friendly and approachable if needed, we work hard to try and ensure everyone’s stay is as comfortable as possible. You will find a selection of pillows to choose from and a wide selection of toys and games for children within the property. We press our own apple juice directly from our orchard, also home-made bread, preserves, cakes and fresh eggs are available on request (charges apply). The extensive grounds includes a shallow stream, it is a lovely space to stretch your legs or relax. The immediate area is very popular with outdoor enthusiasts and one of Julia Bradbury’s top 100 walks, ‘the Sandstone Trail’ can be picked up in neighbouring Duckington. Tilston village is small but just 1 mile down the road where you will find the Carden Arms pub serving great food, a quaint and handy village shop and a playground for kids. Malpas is busier and is a 10-minute drive, so is the Carden Park hotel and country estate, which has a spa and a range of leisure facilities including two championship golf courses. There are historic castles at Beeston, Peckforton and Cholmondeley, all easily accessible in around 20 minutes by car. The historic walled city of Chester and Oulton Park motor racing circuit are approximately 30 minutes away. The stunning Welsh mountains and beautiful Wirral peninsula can be reached in about 1 hour. House Rules We request every guest provides us with their home address email and phone number. If any damage occurs during your stay, you are liable for this. We are happy to check the property with you just before you leave and confirm by email that there is none. We have internet access., the network name is 'Coach House', there is no password. If you stay with us longer than a week, the cleaning will take place every Sunday. Please can you take any rubbish and recycling out on Thursday evening for the Friday collection, thank you. We charge early check in and late check out fee £50 check in 15:00 pm check out 10:00 am Check in times are between 3:00pm and 10:00pm and we aim to be here to welcome you. Check out is by 10.00am on your departure day. Please remove outdoor footwear before entering the house, no outdoor shoes to be worn inside. No smoking (including e-cigarettes) is permitted in the house or the grounds and on the street. No candles permitted in the house. This is a quiet area, please keep noise levels to a minimum at all times. Disposable barbecues are not permitted, we can provide a gas barbecue. Please notify us of any damage or breakages as soon as possible. We understand that accidents can happen. Please close and lock your doors and windows when you are leaving. Teenagers under the age of 19 years old are NOT BE LEFT IN THE HOUSE BY THEMSELVES. Please ensure taps are not left running and that the TV, lights and oven are turned off when you are going out. Guests are asked not to invite visitors during your stay with us. However, we would accept daytime visitors limited to two per day at a rate of £20 per person per day. We would prefer that you booked them in advance. Please leave the house as you find it, there is a dustpan & brush, anti-bacterial cleaning spray, cloths and washing up liquid for your use. Please take the towels, bed covers and dirty items to downstairs to be washed. Personal property is your responsibility and we will not be liable for any belongings lost or damaged during your stay, or for any personal injury. We reserve the right to enter the house at any reasonable hour to carry out any urgent repairs. Please be aware this is our legal right as we don’t have a formal short hold tenancy with you.
