Enjoy a stress-free holiday in Zermatt by staying at our fully stocked 2 bed/ 2 bath apartment, located a few minutes walk from the center of the village- yet set on a quiet street surrounded by stunning views of the mountains, trees and chalets. The apartment is comfortable, bright and thoughtfully decorated; Enjoy cozy nights with the wood burning fire and a movie on the 65’ LCD smart tv, sleep well on Swedish pillow top beds with high quality bedding, enjoy a fully stocked kitchen and more! The space This beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment in the heart of Zermatt is our family’s holiday home, used only a few times a year by us and a maximum of 2 bookings per season when we are away. It’s very clean, well kept with brand new furniture, and fully stocked so we invite you help yourself to whatever you need to help you feel at home during your stay! **The apartment sleeps 5… 2 guests in each of the bedrooms, and 1 on a comfortable pull out Natuzzi sofa bed in the living room (2 guests may be accommodatated if prior approval is given…. Please note that the living room only has sheer curtains, so light will shine through in the mornings : ) The master bedroom features a very comfortable and plush 200 x 200cm Swedish pillow-top bed (similar to a US king sized bed), a small wall mounted tv, room darkening curtains, a wardrobe, en-suite bathroom with tub/ shower combo and double vanity, and a large furnished private terrace. (Furniture will be covered in the winter but you are free to use it) The second bedroom offers a comfortable 180 x 200cm bed (similar to a US queen sized bed) featuring a plush Swedish pillow-top topper. There is a large window that opens up to beautiful views, room darkening curtains, a wardrobe, and a bathroom located just outside of the bedroom. The apartment is fully stocked with everything you need for a stress-free trip to Zermatt and the feeling of home. We offer you a welcome bottle of wine or Prosecco plus snacks on arrival, coffee pods, paper towels, toilet paper, and both bathrooms are stocked with full sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash along with dispensers of hand wash and lotion. We also invite you to use our laundry or cleaning products as well as anything you need in our well stocked kitchen. Amenities: -65 inch OLED smart tv -Wood burning stove with complimentary logs, fire starters and lighter -Fully stocked pantry with a full range of spices, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar etc -Fully stocked kitchen with pots, sauté pans, blender, Le Cruset Dutch oven, cutting board and cooking utensils -Nespresso machine & Kettle, plus an assortment of complimentary tea, sugar and honey -Bialetti Moka Express (for brewing ground coffee) -SodaStream for sparkling water -Wine, champagne, beer and Irish coffee glasses + bottle opener & corkscrew -Cheese board -Raclette burner -Fondu pot -2 Hair dryers and 1 straightener -Extra pillows and blankets -First aid supplies and a medicine cabinet you are welcome to use -Cleaning supplies, dishwashing liquid and pods, sponges, laundry detergents and more available for use (We offer single use slippers but do not supply bathrobes) There are only 8 apartments in this building, and you can enjoy some shared amenities like a laundry room with a complimentary washer and dryer (Located on the same floor as the apartment) and a ski room to store your ski boot and gear. The spa room is out of service, but a large spa shower and toilet is available for communal use. (This apartment is our family’s holiday home, so you may find some of our personal effects throughout the apartment which are hidden as best we can; We have 1 separate section of the wardrobe in the master bedroom for our personal belongings and we kindly ask for you to respect this space, and a some condiments in the refrigerator that you are welcome to use.
