Guest access Entire house. Garage is not accessible to guest. Other things to note Please Note: -NO SMOKING -this is a historic home built in the 1900s. The sidewalks and driveway has some uneven areas and may present tripping hazards. Guest should use caution when walking outside especially at night or with mobility issues. There are stairs to front door(six steps) -Parking located in driveway next to home or on street in front of house. Things To Do Nearby: It is centrally located to all Independence, KS has to offer. Shopping downtown or visiting the local restaurants just blocks away. 45 minutes to Bartlesville, Ok 30 minutes to Caney, KS 20 minutes to Coffeyville, Ks 20 minutes to Neodesha, KS 30 minutes to Fredonia, KS  Independence,Ks is home to the largest annual festival in Kansas, Neewollah(Halloween spelt backwards). At the end of October the city of Independence will grow from a town of around 8,500 inhabitants to 75,000 in the final days of the now 9-day celebration. Today's celebration now includes 3 parades, a Doo Dah Parade (adult Kiddie Parade), a Kiddie Parade and a Grand Parade. A Chili Cook-off, Musical and Queen Neelah pageant also add to the festival activities.
