Welcome to our little forest in the city, located in a quiet family neighborhood in North Decatur. Situated on .4 acres of trees the suite is spacious, private, and surrounded by windows with its own private unfenced patio. We are located 5-10 minutes drive from multiple quaint restaurants, a yoga studio, a great vintage clothing store, a curated food market, Whole Foods, Sprouts, Publix, CVS, Target, & an AMC theater. We are 5 minutes walk from a cute neighborhood park with a flower garden a play structures for little ones, and a 15 minute walk from a larger park play structure & nature walk with a stream. As well, Emory Hospital is 14 minutes away, downtown Decatur is 15 minutes away and Midtown Atlanta is 25 minutes from us. The suite itself is completely private, but attached to our main home where we live. This means there may be occasions where barks, or footfalls are heard. It also means if you are in need of any assistance, more recommendations, or just want to get to know us we are available. However, your privacy is of our utmost concern and we will let you take the lead on that. We love meeting new people, but are also very happy to keep to ourselves. The entrance to your space is on the opposite side of our property, so if it’s complete solitude you crave you will have it!:-) A bit about our amenities - we offer a very equipped kitchen, bathroom, large bedroom, and private patio. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, cabinet space, cooking utensils and dishes, a toaster, microwave, countertop oven/airfryer, two countertop burners, a dishwasher, and coffeemaker. The bathroom is a nice size with a tiled walk-in shower. We do provide some shampoo/conditioner/soap to start you off as well as towels, q-tips, makeup remover pads. The bedroom is good sized with a comfy king bed, small chest of drawers, large closet with hangers and a hamper, luggage rack & extra bedding if needed, as well as portable heaters and fans. The home is set to 71 degrees but we have a split Daikin system for the main room & portable heaters and fans if you prefer a cooler or hotter temperature. We also provide access to the laundry room, which is located adjacent to your patio through a gate. We do request 2 hours notice to use for up to 4 hours at a time. We provide detergent as well. We love hosting and are quite proud of our space. We truly hope to get the opportunity to host you!
