Nestled in Loomis, Ca, Sweet Pea’s Cottage offers a variety of opportunities to disconnect from the hustle and bustle and reconnect with loved ones. It's time to relax, recuperate, and unwind. Bake a cake, pick some flowers, gather fresh eggs, and feed the "baby" goats. Being built in the early 1900's, this Sweet Pea is over 100 years old! Major grocery stores, restaurants and shopping available within a 5 min drive. Sweet Pea’s is a dedicated short-term rental. We do not live in this home. The space Welcome to Sweet Pea’s Cottage! This 3 bed/2bath cottage offers enough beds for up-to 8 guests. Fast and reliable WI-FI for remote workers. Upon arrival, you’ll use the keyless entry to enter into the warm and spacious living room. Twist the knob on the side of the fireplace and get ready to get warm and cozy. Here you’ll find a sofa-bed with an optional memory foam topper and all linens located inside the cabinets directly beneath the 55” Smart TV. Shuffle through the DVD’s and prepare yourselves to experience the rumbling Polk Audio Sound System. Two oversized accent chairs found on either side of the sofa provide additional seating for guests to sink into. Want to sleep in? Block out curtains have been installed in all bedrooms and living room. The cute country-cottage inspired kitchen provides everything needed to feed the family. Air-fryer, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, pots, pans, plates, wine glasses, etc; It’s all here! Feel free to visit the chicken coup for farm fresh eggs, pet the baby goats. The goats are occasionally rotated to different pastures for grazing so if they aren’t around, reach out and we can bring them back. Please note, eggs can be seasonal. During the winter time, they don’t produce very many eggs. Need some space from the kids? Send them off into the “Game Room.” Provided are a variety of board games, children’s books, a Nintendo 64, and Nintendo NES. In the center of the room we have a round table which comfortably seats 6. Stretch out and read a book on the extra large window lounge. Within the open air garage, you’ll find a ping-pong table, free weight set, and mini basketball game. Guest access The entire property is of access except the large shed near the garage. Other things to note Prior to booking with a pet, please reach out to host to get approval. Dogs must be potty trained and cannot be left unattended. No pets on ANY furniture. Pets must remain on leash outside and owner is responsible for cleaning up and disposing all pet waste. The locomotive passes across Sierra College Blvd and can be heard throughout the day and occasionally at night. Our family really enjoy the sounds of the historic trains, but for for those who may be sensitive, we provide ear-buds beside each bed. -The home has smart TV’s, but please be sure to bring your own Log-ins for your Disney, Netflix, Hulu, accounts. -There are free weights with pull-up and ping pong table out in the garage that is open to the elements so it can get cold or hot depending on the time of the year. . You’re welcome to use these amenities anytime during you stay.
