Entering the private home through tree trunk pillars on the porch, the main floor offers your family or business retreat a spacious great room with more indoor tree trunk pillars, a gas fireplace, soaring ceilings, and massive windows with amazing views of the Boardman River. The great room is so large that it also includes a game table, and there are some game options stocked for your family fun. The southern exposure means lots of light throughout the day. The well-equipped kitchen includes a drip coffee maker, Keurig, and a French press. Enjoy meals at the dining table or breakfast bar. The great room also includes a game table with games provided. There is also a stocked laundry room. As nice as this house is inside, you'll want to spend all your time outside. The Boardman River flows right by your spacious, waterfront deck featuring an acacia wood dining table, a grill, two gliders, sun loungers, and hot tub to sit and soak it in. Unwind in the shady private hot tub or gather around the wood-burning fire pit by the river. This house is perfect for a large family gathering, a weekend getaway, or company retreat with a special customer. You can even fish, tube, or kayak (byo)! Sleeping Arrangements: - Bedroom 1 (Main Floor Master): Plush King bed, ensuite bathroom with a low-clearance walk-in shower, and a comfortable desk workspace, and massive windows to enjoy the river flowing just outside. - Bedroom 2 (Main Floor): Two triple-twin bunk beds (six twin beds total), perfect for kids or groups. The full bathroom is separate and includes a shower with a tub. - Bedroom 3 (Upstairs Suite): Private suite with two Queen beds up the log staircase, a large walk-in closet (with Pack 'n Play), and a spacious ensuite bathroom with loads of counter space with a low-entry walk-in shower. Guest access Guests will have exclusive and private access to the entire 3,335 sq ft lodge, the surrounding yard, and the private riverfront area. You are not sharing any spaces with other guests or the host. Key access features include: - Private entrance - Ample free on-site parking Other things to note 2-Person Discount: This listing reflects a reduced cleaning fee for 2 guests only. If more than two guests stay, a $150 fee will be charged to cover the full cleaning cost. Water & Ice: The lodge has well water, which is safe but contains natural minerals that may give it a distinct smell. The refrigerator's water and ice dispenser is disconnected; we provide ice trays for your use. Wildlife: You are in a beautiful rural forest area and may encounter wildlife like deer, squirrels, chipmunks, rabbits, turtles, mice, insects, raccoons, bears, and bobcats (among others). Please keep doors closed (including garage doors) to help keep them outdoors. If we notice the garage doors open for long periods (from the driveway cameras), we may contact you to request you close them. We do not offer refunds for wildlife sightings. Access requires a few stairs. River Use: Boardman River is fairly cold. We provide river tubes of various sizes for your enjoyment. (Small tube 32" and “is suitable for 50- 90 lbs”. Medium tube inflates to 36" “suitable for 120 lbs or less”. Large tube inflates to 40" “suitable for 120-200lb.” And 44” tubes handle “250lbs”.) Sister Property: Need more space? Our sister home, The Firefly Lodge, is next door. Together, the properties can accommodate up to 28 guests. Please inquire for availability, as it books far in advance. Pet Policy: $125 for the first dog. Additional dogs $50 each. (Dogs only.) Fees: Please note that any refunds will not include credit card processing fees. Short stays, weekly and monthly, are available. Mid-stay cleaning is available at the same rate as the cleaning fee. The neighbors on River Drive appreciate the quiet, calm setting.
