Luxury Alpine Chalet with Sauna & Hot Tub

Just a 5 minute drive from the centre of Morzine, Chalet Marialys is a newly renovated chalet in the peaceful alpine village of Essert Romand. You are close enough to the hustle and bustle of this stunning alpine town but far enough away, that you can relax and unwind in luxury and comfort surrounded by the most fantastic scenery. * WINTER ONLY * - To make your stay as easy as possible, we offer a FREE shuttle service to the slopes to all our guests from 8:30am - 10:30am and 4pm - 6:30pm The space Our focus throughout our hospitality adventure has been that we create the perfect home from home for our guests. As you enter the chalet, you will find the Boot Room area on your right. This spacious room has a WC, Boot warmers, laundry facilities and a handcrafted banquette seating area. As a special feature, we have put a TV on the wall together with games console & games so that either you or the children can enjoy the separate space from the rest of the bustle of the chalet if you wish. As you walk into the main area of the chalet, the kitchen is directly on your right hand side. Paul has always had a passion for cooking & hosting for clients, friends & family which played a huge part in the careful design of the kitchen for our guests. We’ve ensured that there is plenty of preparation space along with a great amount of storage for all your needs. The central island faces into the dining area ensuring that whoever is cooking remains part of the rest of the group. At the end of the kitchen, the impressive bi-fold doors lead out onto an oversized wrap-around balcony to enjoy a glass of wine as the sun goes down over the mountains. The dining area runs between the kitchen and living room with fantastic views overlooking the Essert Romand area and the Pointe de Ressachaux mountain. The dining room table was personally built by Paul from the joists of the original chalet. It can comfortably seat 10 people with blue leather bucket chairs and sympathetic lighting overhead. The lounge area is at the far end of the chalet and is the perfect place to relax. The corner sofa is nestled in the corner, surrounded by wood panels, with the TV situated on the wall. As you glance across to the right, the “pièce de résistance” is the picture window that frames the mountains so perfectly. The two perfectly positioned armchairs, sit in front of the window making it the perfect place for a cup of tea or glass of wine to take in the breathtaking views that Essert Romand has to offer. We have 4 stylish and spacious ensuite bedrooms across 2 floors. All 4 bedrooms can accommodate 2 people in either a Super King or Twin configurations. Bedroom 4 has an additional 2 x Single Cabin beds to accommodate 4 people. Guest access During your stay you will have exclusive use of the chalet, the hot tub and sauna. Please Note: The inter-season runs from the beginning May until Mid June and from Mid September until the middle of December. During this time, the hot tub and sauna can be booked but this will hold a fee of €100 for the duration. Bringing Your Pet We’re happy to welcome well-behaved pets at the chalet, but please do let us know in advance if you’re bringing one - turning up unannounced with a pet can cause complications. There is a €50 pet fee to cover additional cleaning and wear. In Resort Transfers (WINTER ONLY) To make things as easy as possible for you to get around the resort, we run an inclusive shuttle service in our own Chalet Marialys Minibus – 7 days a week. Whether you want to go to Pleney, Ardent, Prodain or Les Gets, Paul will be available for you from 8:30am – 10:30am and 4:00pm – 6:30pm. As an added bonus, by prior arrangement, we can facilitate lifts into town for dinner and home again afterwards up until 11pm. There is also a bus stop just a short walk away, situated on the main road through Essert Romand, outside the church. The Balad’Aulps Bus line provides transport to all the surrounding villages including Essert Romand. The price of a ticket for the bus service is 1,50€.
