Welcome to White Rock Escape. Secluded on top of a ridge, this 22 acre property is where you can unwind with family and/or friends after a day of hiking, exploring wineries, breweries and orchards, horse back riding, visiting historic sites and Skyline Drive. We are close to the popular hiking of Old Rag Mountain and White Oak Canyon Falls in the SNP. Enjoy the views of Carpenter's Mountain right off the large back porch and the fire pit next to the playset! We look forward to hosting you. White Rock Escape offers 22 acres of large peaceful and relaxing yard space and woods. A firepit with Adirondack chairs for making s'mores, a playset for children to enjoy and a gas grill on the back porch. The property has a walking path in the woods to explore during your stay. The 3 bedroom and 2 full bathroom home is equipped to sleep 8 guests. The master room has a king bed and an attached master bathroom with two sinks, shower and soaking tub. The other two bedrooms include one with a queen bed and one with a twin trundle bed. The second full bathroom is located in between these bedrooms with a shower tub. The twin trundle bed pulls out to a second twin bed or it lifts into a king size bed. The family room has a sleeper sofa that pulls out into a queen size bed. Also a small desk and chair is located here for a work space if needed. Both bathrooms are equipped with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, bath mat, and wash cloths. Brand of products are subject to change but feel free to message us and ask what current brands are being stocked. Each bed is equipped with linens, blankets and pillows. The kitchen is equipped with all the basics to be able to cook and serve a meal. It also has a Keurig K-Duo coffee maker for carafe coffee and/or single serve. The living room offers a smart tv and the laundry room has a full size washer and dryer. Feel free to use the preprogrammed apps (ie Netflix and Disney) on the tv with your login information. This space will eventually be renovated and added to the rental. Also, guests will not have access to the attic as this space is being used for the owner's storage. The owners, Kevin and Sarah, live about 12 miles away and can be reached any time throughout your stay. We are happy to assist in making your stay as memorable and pleasant as possible! - Some cell services will work on the property but mostly be prepared to use WIFI calling to make calls. Our satellite internet generally works well, and we are able to use streaming apps (i.e. Netflix) but it is possible to have spotty service on occasion. - The property has one security camera located outside the home along the driveway. - General Information: Our home has most everything you need for a fun-filled, cozy and comfortable stay. The kitchen is stocked with basic utensils to cook and serve (cups, plates, silverware, etc.), dish soap, trash bags and dish washer tabs. Bathrooms will have 2 rolls of toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, cotton balls, q-tips, tooth picks, bath towels, bath mat, hand towel, and wash cloths. YOU WILL NEED TO BRING – your remaining toiletries you deem necessary and any specialty cookware. If you’re a coffee drinker – we do have a Keurig Duo Coffee pot in the house but be sure to bring some coffee and your favorite creamer.
